Do you have any/many shoes with a natural leather sole? If so, how do you manage with them in Canada or do you decide to get a some sort of rubber sole? The cool thing with the PL1 is that a chunky leather sole fits them well but some Guidi (the backzip for example) seem to have a slimmer profile and I'm not sure they'd look as good with a chunky sole.

Yeah i do actually! A pair of ccps i have are leather soles. I would suggest getting a vibram sole at a cobbler. They can add a thin layer of vibram so that it protects the bottoms and dont look too chunky! Hope that helps!
