I've been to Bulimba a few times now. Great area. My choir has a rehearsal in Bulimba. So I get the bus in on a Friday morning from my Grandparents. Its held at the bulimba community centre on the other side of the park so I walk up the path.

Great video . My favourite suburb is Aspley - so close to great Cafes, parks and schools with westfield on the door step and easy to get to the beach on the Sunshine Coast

Thanks Ty 🤗 you’re right…Aspley does have a lot to offer. We love that it’s so green and lots of people are lucky enough to live on acreage there. On a good run, it only takes 20 min to the city and less than an hour to the coast 😊

These are some lovely suburbs. I'm very familiar with west end as my choir rehearses at Aphea hall on boundary street west end so right off the main street. we also go to Frydays bar and kitchen after rehearsal. Love the Queenslander style homes.

You were in Bulimba! That’s where we are living. I wish I’d seen you! I would have taken you both for a coffee or a glass of wine to say thank you for all the lovely, inspirational videos. I haven’t visited New Farm so that’s what I’ll be doing later today after watching this film. We lived in Bulimba for a few years and the Bulimba church is where my daughter was christened 16 years ago. Thanks for bringing back the memories guys. Was only renting then, wish we had bought there as we'd be rolling in it now.

Hey Beth and Paul! I am an 18 year old from California and watching your videos just makes me itch to go to Australia. Ever since I was a kid I've loved the wildlife there and have been mesmerized by the culture and comparitively lower cost of living (I live in San Diego, and finding an apartment around here is not cheap). I am saving up to make a trip out there in the coming years and I may just end up staying for life! Love the videos, you two!

All of these 'burbs look good. If we could only choose one, Donna and I feel we would most like to walk around the streets of West End. We see Australia has opened the borders to tourists. It is still too troublesome to get back into Canada after a trip... but that is one block removed for us to hopefully make our way to Brisbane to see Donna's sister and family.

Hey @New Zealand Earthmover 😊 Good Question! Not really, we’re only 80 minutes away and the drive is enjoyable in the Tesla. We pop down regularly to spend time with our daughter and love spending time down there. But we really love coming home to the hinterland ☀️

Hi Craig, we love the proximity to the cbd, the Brisbane river and New Farm Park. It’s very convenient for people who live there as there’s plenty of buses, ferries, shops, cafes and restaurants. Some locals walk to work in the city via the Howard Smith Wharves boardwalk.

Hi Subbanna 😊 Upper Mount Gravatt is only 11 kms from Brisbane CBD. It’s handy to the motorway and has great public transport links. It’s a good area for families because it has plenty of green spaces, parks, bikeways and a large Westfield Shopping Centre. It also has good quality schools and good access to the CBD (20 minutes), Airport (25 minutes) and the Gold Coast (40 minutes). We know people who live there and they ❤️ it!
