Man my area didn’t experience it this bad, but definitely had those warnings come up on my phone! By the way, fun fact, you do not get a viral infection like a cold from cold weather. So standing outside in that weather does not make it worse. Nor does it cause you to get sick. Cold or hot, it’s the virus/bacteria that gets you sick. So play outside as much as you’d like lol

One way we used to keep our kids distracted and not fearfull of storms is camping inside. Build a fort and have your favorite snack and a simple game. This way they never notice how bad a storm is and everyone is already together if the lights go out. (But if youre already in thr tent or fort the lights are already out) lol 😊
