Never go to Joe's. Check around for a local place for good seafood, and real food, not pre made crap. Sry the weather was bad. Come on back down. It's hot but the Beach has been great.

For your beans to run on build you a frame about 8 ft long by 4 ft high out of half inch round stock and put chicken wire on it. Make the end piece of metal 6 ft long to stick in the ground. My dad made about 10 of these in the 70's and I know they lasted until the 90's. Pull them up after use and store them under shelter till next year.

I guess y'all live to far north of where that storm came through. I'm in Louisiana just north of Baton Rouge and we lost power at 8 am Wednesday and it is now 9: 30 pm Friday and we still don't have power. That storm completely took out 2 Parishes plus parts of Baton Rouge and a lot of places south of Baton Rouge. It hit Louisiana hard.

$35k for that boat? Good grief! Glad y'all still had fun despite the weather. I remember from 30 years ago I went to Myrtle Beach, SC, in late April and it was windy and cold the entire time; was not prepared as I had packed nothing but t-shirts and shorts...lol. Take care and be safe...

I feel your pain Tyler and Brittany. I fish Lake Erie where a simple breeze causes 2 foot waves and anything more makes it uncomfortable. Many days 😂are lost.

You're right about can't control the weather. We did have a couple of tornadoes tuch down yesterday. Maybe you'll have better luck next time

Sounds like it's pretty unanimous, I went to a Joe's crab shack in SoCal several years ago and wasn't impressed either.

When I lived up North, we called that a walleye chop. 😆 Joking of course, but I hate the ocean, for that reason right there. Loved the go carts!

I live about twenty minutes from the beach in south Mississippi and I prefer the mountains waaay better. I meet a man in north Georgia last weekend and he loves coming to the coast for Crusing the Coast in October Different strokes for different folks. Stay safe and have fun!

Joe's crab shack is a chain restaurant, I went to one in NC and thought the exact same thing. That store didn't stay open very long.

10 year old Blue Heeler!!! Beautiful!!! I was blessed with my Cricket for 16 years. Any day at the beach is a good day. With your and Britt's positive attitude, I'm sure you had a good time!

We use concrete reinforcements wire sheets 8’ x 16’ steel fence stack every 4’ and wire tie wire sheets to the stakes to make a fence Plant our pole beans , peas, and or tomatoes and cucumbers and tie up on the fence , a great way to grow produce . also make a archway out of the reinforcement wire and grow peas , cucumbers. walk in the arch way and there hanging there waiting to be picked

Hey guys yes at this time of the year even the east coast of Florida you got to double check the weather for vacation the pass week here was warm in the afternoon but cool to start in the morning than morning got warmer than the wind and that big storm came by now high 60's in morning mid 70's to 80's in afternoon but at least wasn't a total loss for two reason one you still had fun second the most important you were together have a great day

Love the emerald coast. We lived in Crestview while I was working as a Forester at Elgin AFB. Our middle daughter got married on the beach in Navarre. We currently live just north of the MS/AL/TN border. Guess Gulf State Park may be closest? We bought a tornado shelter to put in the garage here.
