If there were awards for reselling videos this one would be the winner! Great job, fun and so helpful. Thanks for sharing.

I was a reseller from 2000 to 2022 a few things I had awesome returns on. Vintage toys (Polly Pocket, GI Joe, Barbie, Fisher Price, etc.) Women's sports yoga wear, bras (new and used), vintage swimwear for men and women, Speedos for men and women, vintage or homemade blankets (without damage, stains, smells), purses, belts, ties, vintage cookware, vintage figurines, hats, dog/cat accessories, etc... Good video thanks for sharing.

I used to build some models as a kid (like 40 years ago) and I remember that not all boxes were sealed as new either. Especially name Tamiya comes to my mind when thinking it. So older model kits may be brand new even the box is not sealed.

Shhhh! Don’t talk about the books! That’s 60-70% of my sales lately But seriously: knives, gun, sporting , hunting, old manuals/ instructions, historical, law dictionary, coffee table size large print limited books (see “big red book by GG jung” stuff like this is what to look for. Good primer for people to look deeper. Started with video games. 9 years later it’s 5-10% of my sales and doing full time for my wife and myself. Learned a lot from you guys but being out there and doing the research is the best way.

I had never found cutco till I was recently at a town wide garage sale. A house had a small free pile that I spotted, my wife even says why are you wasting your time on that, I get out and behind a box hidden from the road is a knife block with two pearl handled cutco steak knives. For some reason even at garage sales some of the most profitable items I find are in the free pile.

Long story short when you showed the Olympia typewriter in a prior video it reminded me of mine from 1964 that parents gave me in second year of high school. I still have it. It was last used by my son 20 years ago to fill out a job application. I would never sell it (someone might find it some day at an estate sale). The funny thing was that very weekend of your video I found the same Olympia typewriter on last day of three day yard sale reduced to $5. It as nice as mine and yours sold one except it has a 13 inch carriage and case is much bigger and heavier. I’m still researching it and figuring out how to ship it. Thank you for all your helpful information.

Great topic today, guys! My best sale ever was a book. It was an atlas from 1953. I paid 10 cents for it at a thrift store, and it sold for $100 dollars on eBay!

Rule #1 - scan the garage sale as you walk up to see what to head to first Rule #2 - take time to park your car in a way that lets you exit easily

#1: Back in to the driveway and up to the tables like you own the place. #2: Profit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

For toner, you also want to make sure it's retail packaging. Some of the companies have subscription programs, and the user is technically renting the toner cartridge. You will almost certainly get a VERO hit if you try to sell that. For ink, you should always include the expiration date in the title (for the brands where the ink expires).

Do you have a video of how you pack the typewriters?
@blarsblarson8605Ай бұрын
I suspect it is only a reduction of the discount Ebay and Pirate Ship (etc) get, so it is not an increase that affects retail postal customers, only 99% of packages sent.

Lonnie i recall you had a prob with your back or shoulder. What kind of pain relief were you given and do you still take it? I know weird question but i got pain (and a big memory!)
@shedflipsАй бұрын
They gave me tramadol and some muscle relaxers. I took them for a few days and my shoulder got back to normal. It's weird, sometimes it will lock up and I can't move it at all. Then for very long stretches it is normal. I hope you feel beter soon.
@stevenstevepf7727Ай бұрын
You mention early in the video that you can look at two years worth of your ebay sales history. Only 90 days worth shows up in Selling Manager - how do you get two years worth?
@shedflipsАй бұрын
Go to Orders, then from the drop down for period, choose "custom". Set the start date for 2 years back. That's the max it will let you go. You will see all of the sales but you will lose sorting capability.
