Really feel for you all Cheryl. This year my elderly mum fell a d broke her hip, my husband has had to have radiotherapy for skin cancer, we've moved house and my sister is waiting for biopsy results. It's been an awful year and I don't feel there's been a day where I haven't been worried or stressed. I really feel for you all including Willow as it takes its toll on you all. I live in Kent but if I lived nearer I would love to have been able to have a cuppa and even a cry with you. Stay strong as better days are coming xx

Hi Cheryl, looking at this vlog I relate to you so much .Different circumstances but so much going on for one lady to juggle in every way .I don't know about you but I've found this yr so overwhelming. Divorce ,movingvhome ,my health problems, all the renovating so close to Christmas. I've had stressed and sick cats ,a stressed daughter who has special needs. I've started to get ptsd from leaving a domestic abuse situation and still not got my final divorce and financial settlement whichbis months overdue. I watch you coping with all that you have also and think we both need a virtual bottle of wine 🍷 together after a stressful yr we've had .I'm glad I discovered you and Mike and your story ,so down to earth and relatable which is a positive of this yr. I'll remember Mike in my prayers 🙏 for a speedy recovery. Don't forget to have some Cheryl time 🎉🎉xx

These infections are so easily picked up in hospital but it was great to get him back on the ward and sorted out so quickly. I'm sure everything is going to work out well for you both. I can't imagine a worse combo than a house move shortly followed by surgery. I recently had a memory foam topper for my mattress and boy did it pong for several days. I remember my father in law having the prostate op. He was pretty fragile for a while. Anyway all the best to you both - onwards and upwards Mike!

Wow. That was a nightmare for you both. I hope Mike recovers quickly and your knee is getting better too. ❤️. Did the nurses show you a trick to help get those stockings on. I had to do it for my hubby. When you have washed and dried his feet and legs. Dust a little talcum powder on. Put the foot and leg into a plastic bag. Kind of like a Morrisons plastic bag. Then put his foot into the stocking and roll up round the heel and pull up over the bag. Then pull the plastic bag down through the hole in the bottom of the stocking. It makes it so much easier. So glad you have Mikes daughter and a lovely neighbour to help out. Keep strong. And don’t over do things. Xx

Hi Cheryl, good grief, what a week, what a year 🤪🙄. Sounds like you needed to have a bed in the hospital just for a rest for a week 😁🤣, obviously no other reason, although you have hurt your knee 😜🤪, if it doesn't rain it pours 🙄, you probably need to get your knee checked out properly. Poor Mike, horrible that he has had a set-back, that's all he needs 🙄, I'll call him Nora Batty from now on with his wrinkly stockings 🤣😂. Aww, Willow is so sweet bless her 😍, throw her another sausage 😅😂. I hope you both have a better week Cheryl. You must take care of yourself so you can take care of Mike. Thanks Diane, nearly... nearly lost my humour last week 😂😂. My new favourite word is 'ridiculous' I just keep saying it 😂. Knee is fine, it was just one of the moments when you think 'seriously!' are ya kidding me' 🫤🫤but its ok, bruise and a lump. Mike does look odd in his wrinkly stockings, bless him though his feet are cold, gawd they are tight, cut off the circulation!. Willow wont take her eyes off us, keeps checking on us I think bless her 🐾😊🐾 Come Christmas I'm just going to sleep through it. Wake me up when its 2025 😁xxxx ❤️❤️

Cheryl…please just slow down now with the house, just take a few days to look after Mike and you. I totally understand why you have cracked on but you have all the time to do the house, it’s liveable now so concentrate on just resting up and getting Mike settled. Cook some wholesome stews etc and just step back a bit, you don’t want to make yourself ill. Sorry to tell you you off, but it’s only out of concern x

Thats ok 😂 I told Mike off this week too, he saunters about looking for things to do. Keeps putting his hands on things to pick up and I have to be really quick and stop him as hes not allowed to lift anything, even half a kettle! Im not much of cook but its odd you mentioned that because I had a couple of cook books open today specifically looking at stews and casseroles for over Christmas. I wont have a kitchen for a while so one pot meals are the way to go I think xxx❤️❤️

U look worn out luv! I know its wall to wall stress atm and a stressful time. Nobody tells u how hard the recovery is after a major op. Would u have community nurses pop in every day to change dressings etc? Maybe worth thinking about. Hate seeing u both like this 😭
