I'm planning to film more little "life snippet" videos like this on this channel, including recipes I like or things here in Korea that I want to film for you guys but don't have the time to subtitle them on the English channel. I love hearing your ideas for what you want to see so please leave any thoughts below! Today's video was a bit of a different style I'm experimenting with, I'd love for this to be a peaceful place for you to come to and relax in the future.

also why do the chocolate crisps actually sound good,,,, might have to try them!! what flavour were they?? were they just kinda like the ready salted flavour??
@AnalogSara3 жыл бұрын
@@breacadhmcbride7252 Yeah just plain salted chips! I honestly was so shocked at how good they were! I think using flavoured chips might end up clashing with the chocolate flavour.

Milka originated in Switzerland, produced primarily in Germany, but both Milka & Cadbury (plus Marabou and Toblerone) are all owned by Mondelez now. Also, Milka uses hazelnut paste, Cadbury do not.
@AnalogSara3 жыл бұрын
Oh I didn’t know that thank you! I’d never seen Milka before I moved to Korea!
@Sallymander143 жыл бұрын
@@AnalogSara That's strange, I wonder why they'd sell Cadbury in Australia but not Milka - they sell both here in the UK, and I see a lot of Milka in airports too, when we can travel 😅

@@AnalogSara Milka is very popular in Europe =D they have so many different ones

This was great! The recipes seem really straightforward and accessible, but look very fancy. I'm really looking forward to seeing whatever you upload to this channel :)

Yay so happy you uploaded Sara! This makes me wanna try making choc dipped chips at home too! I really enjoy watching your Korean channel, but love your English channel even more because 1. No need to read subs + 2. You cook a lot more here and I love food videos! Sending you and Tiny good wishes!! :) Ps, loved when Tiny said “I can eat all of this” haha! x

I love the style and mood of this video, Sara! ❤❤ Our go-to special meal is garlic snails for appetizers, mussel and seafood soup for mains and some type of chocolate pudding/mousse/cake for dessert. Often though, we turn the cooking process into the 'date' and try to whip up more complicated or time-consuming dishes to experiment with. Our Valentine's hasn't really changed or been affected much.

When I make pancakes or waffles, I make them with my sourdough starter and the King Arthur Baking Company's recipe. They're so fluffy and, when I use a waffle iron, they rise and lift the lid slightly! I'm glad you guys had a relaxed, foodie day.

Self-rising flour is pretty common in America - for making quick breads, pancakes (American style, not UK) and (American) biscuits. The formula is easy - 1 cup all purpose flour, 1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Chocolate covered potato chips have been around a long time here too.

I've been following your Korean-speaking channel for so long now that I actually got thrown for a moment when the video started with you speaking English, LOL! This looks like a safe and fun Valentines to me! I tend to wait for the half-price chocolate the day after, as my celebration. I'm single, and even when I dated, I can't really say I celebrated hugely on the day. Just exchange a present, maybe eat something nice, like you and Tiny did! Can't wait for the cooking vids!

Saying if it was British chocolate was like an insult 😭😭 Only Swiss and German chocolates have the actual chocolate taste that tastes good, the rest tastes like crap. The only worse chocolate than British are Polish and American ones...
@AnalogSara3 жыл бұрын
hahaha I deeply apologise. I've never been to that side of the world so please excuse my chocolate brand ignorance haha perhaps one day I'll be able to taste real Swiss and German chocolate!
@denisez8863 жыл бұрын
@@AnalogSara Hahaha, I know, I'm definitely closer to the source 😂 I'm sure you can buy Swiss chocolate in Korea if you are able to buy Milka. I used to buy white chocolate Milka during my snack break almost every day at school and then I would inhale it within seconds during the next lesson 😅 Now my favourite is Daim Milka, white chocolate Toblerone or any kind of Kinder chocolate 👌😋 I just ate white Kinder Bueno like 3 hours ago, I literally eat Kinder chocolate in family packs 😅😭
