Our visit over Halloween to Ft Fisher NC

On this trip we took a quick weekend getaway to Fort Fisher Air Force recreation area. Here, the Cape Fear River and Atlantic ocean‘s merge together. It’s a beautiful area rich with historical significance and wonderful opportunities to get outside and enjoy nature. We try to head to Fort Fisher at least once a year and highly recommend it as a family friendly vacation that the entire family can enjoy.
