FYI The Pineapple Fried Rice is cooked by my fiancee,who is a professional chef in a top hotel in Hua Hin. So glad you enjoyed it. By the way.... have you been to Phraya Nakhon cave yet ? Definitely worth a visit and a good workout too. Good luck in your retirement,wherever you choose to live.

Yes, we went to Phraya Nakhon Cave in the past, maybe a year ago on our visit. Very nice and worth a visit.

What motivated you to leave Koh Samui and move to Hua Hin? Was that your plan all along? How do you like it in comparison? Regrets? I am moving there in a month and cant decide between the two places. I'm also from Ariozna but Tucson. I have stayed in Chiang Mai for extended periods 5 years ago but only a few days in Hua Hin. It made a good impression especially the golf

Our plan was always to do a lot of travelling. We love Koh Samui, and the only issue was the time and costs associated with coming and going from Koh Samui. It really impacted our ability to travel throughout Asia... otherwise we loved it. For us, Hua Hin has a lot more of everything... The beaches are not as amazing, but they are nice. After that everything is perfect for us.
