most hispanic made cakes tend to be on the more "wet" or moist side. Its like almond cake or tres leches. I personally rather have that than a dry cake. However, I hope you guys find the best cake for you and your wedding. Best of luck!

For my wedding, we did a Publix cake and it was fire. Just try it out…. We did vanilla cake, raspberry filling, and raspberry cream cheese icing. So good!

Just do the foam wedding cake for show lol they still have a portion of actual cake so you can slice it for pics and then have a sheet cake in the back to serve lol way cheaper & you still get the look for the pictures

I am a pastry chef and most cakes are going to have some added liquid to make sure the cake is not dense. Usually like a simple syrup of the flavor would be added but shouldn't make the cake wet! I do recall y'all living in Miami and usually hispanics make tres leches which means 3 milks soaking the cake topped with whipped cream and fruit, usually not used has for weddings cakes, unless they are having a dummy cake aka fake cake and then having sheets in the back being served.

I got my cake tasting from the same place and mine were also getting soft and soggy but I think it’s because these slices are made and frozen in advance that by the time you get it and take it home it’s defrosted the wet is from it being frozen 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think that’s just my logic. But best of luck!
