Sometimes when I really miss my mom, or some type of event that she was apart of comes around, I some how make my way back to your wedding video. Wow!! I happened to randomly come across this and I glad I did. I have been crying for the full 17 minutes. 😭 I, too, lost my mom to breast cancer almost 13 years ago now. No, it is definitely not the same as losing her 15 days before my wedding.. but as a 15 year old girl when it happened, my mom has missed so many "big" moments already in my life. Now, as I plan my own wedding, it is so difficult to swallow the fact that she will miss our big day as well.. This video is truly amazing, and this couple has so much strength and love for each other, their family and God. May they never lose that faith. This literally came up on my feed. I have struggled with the loss of many family members who have past on. I remember growing up telling myself that if I ever get married I want this person and that person at my wedding. Now, here I am today, going to get married in April of 2022 and I lost each person I wanted at my wedding. My Wello, my Aunt, my other Aunt who also was like a second mom to me and who helped my mother raised me while my father worked a lot, my fiancé father, and my grandmother from my moms side of the family. I have struggled with the loss of each person and watching this video somehow made me realized that its ok to lose people. We need to continue our lives through faith and know that they are watching over us and that it's the little things in life that you see is them communicating with you letting you know that it's ok. Although they won't be at our wedding, they will definitely be there in spirit.
