Our Weekend at Lockhart State Park - A Texas State Park in the BBQ Capital of Texas!

We had such an amazing time at Lockhart State Park we wanted to share our experience in case you decide to visit! Both the park & city of Lockhart has so much to offer from hiking, shopping, amazing BBQ and Texas history!
We tried Blacks BBQ & loved it! There are 4 BBQ restaurants in the area. Please let us know your preference!

This is one of the parks closest to where my family lives and I've visited it a few times. It's not the biggest and fanciest park out there but its super nice. Great location, great food in the area, it's a great park if you're getting into camping and the whole swing of things
