If it's an older PC or a PC with a traditional HDD then the sound of the engine / blower can cause a vibration in the HDD which can cause the PC to crash. Upgrade to an SSD if that's the case.

It's not worth it to have a Leroy clone with a body so he's gonna go a different direction and build something new from the ground up. Put the dyno computer in the room behind it and run the cables to the monitor in the shop. Either the insane sound is vibrating it apart or the electromagnetic field the dyno creates is fucking with it being so close. Easy fix.

Yeah I'd definite say vibration is causing it, used to have issues like that with car PC's and loud sound systems. That environment is definitely extreme considering acoustic resonance, even for industrial grade equipment. The actual PC and power supply look fairly consumer grade too.
