OB remembers so much further back than anyone else because he works alone in the basement and nobody ever got around to wiping his memory. They just sort of forgot he was down there.

That or THAT is the exact reason why they haven't wiped his memory, because he's always alone downstairs and has NO IDEA what's ever happening up top hence him asking Mobius how they were doing upstairs. You notice he clearly didn't know the timelines were branching until they had mentioned them having power surges all day? There's no need to mind wipe someone if they never know what you're doing. BUT, he could know more than he lets on 😌

Ke Huy Quan is such a gem in this episode. He was born to play Ouroboros! Hard to imagine after he's already played such iconic roles already in Temple of Doom, The Goonies, and Everything Everywhere All At Once! I loved this episode so, so much.

Kang is definitely the big threat but people are forgetting the other unknown, more dangerous and powerful threats yet to come because of the branching timelines. Hero's turning into Villains, some old Villains who've won their fights against the Avengers, Guardians and other heros. Timelines where Kangs not the only threatening being out there. This is just sectioned off tip of the iceberg were experiencing here. Basically like the What If stuff coming to light but a lot of those being very, very dark.

That's a good point. A lot of those What If scenarios would be devastating. Or like a sudden Marvel Zombies swarm sweeping the universe. Or Dracula and legions of vampires coming out of nowhere, etc. But Kang is more dangerous because he has the technology and the knowledge on how to navigate and manipulate time to best serve HIM.

The way this episode is crafted with the phenomenal music and the incredible suspense building, I genuinely think this is one of my favorite episodes of Marvel TV! Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson's chemistry in the show is off the charts! I can't wait till next week!

It was interesting that Mobius remembered meeting OB but couldn’t remember when or his name. We did learn from Sylphie last season that TVA agents do still have their old memories but just can’t access them. I wonder if this led to the artifact of Mobius knowing something but not remembering it. Also, there was a nice example of the fallibility of memory. If your mind only partially remembers something, it will fill in the gaps with plausible scenarios when you try to remember it without you knowing the difference. It’s why eyewitness accounts and identifications can be flaky when the person was under extreme stress or trauma. Mobius remembered meeting OB but not how so his mind started making up the how and he believed it. Loki’s smirk over OB telling him he was wrong was rather funny. It’s interesting that we seem to have strong evidence that OB’s memories were not wiped with the agents. I kind of got the impression that OB designed or built (or both) much, most, or all of the TVA’s major equipment. That would be a good reason why it’s important that he remembers things. It probably doesn’t matter since he never interacts with anyone anyway… until now. I’m excited the show’s back!

Loki time slipping looks absolutely painful. Like he’s been thrown into a taffy puller and is being ripped apart while turned inside out. Actually he looks like the people in the Venom Eminem music video when Venom jumps from person to person. This 1 episode has some of the best use of time travel/glitching moments of all time. The way that Loki, Mobius and OB were all able to have a 3 way conversation across 2 different points in time blew my mind WHILE also making die laughing. Not to mention the absolutely perfect building of tension in the last 10 minutes, I felt like I was watching a Christopher Nolan movie. And Ke Huy Quan is absolutely PERFECT as OB, hiring him for Loki is one of the best decisions Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios has ever made, and just like Owen Wilson he must be protected at all costs.

I feel like it's gonna be one of those situations where in a future episode, we find out Loki is the one that pruned himself and Mobius made the call to that phone to lure the time-slipping Loki to that spot (or vice versa) because Loki and the gang realizes those series of events has to happen for Loki to be plucked out of the timeline, so they make it happen in order to keep the timeline straight.

I saw this a Loki getting pulled across different points if time. Yeah in the beginning he was in the TVA's Kang era pre-timekeepers , but towards the end, he was in the TVA's post-timekeepers past. So, he was talking to memory wiped OB. I doubt Kang would NOT remember to wipe OB's memories.

I hate that people are complaining that Ant-Man beat Kang. People are forgetting why Kang was banished to the Quantum Realm. To cut him off his main power source. Time. Ant-Man and the gang beat a Kang that wasn't even powered up. Also, the Kang from Loki and the one from Ant-Man aren't the same one at all. People seem to not really get the concept of variants or that the main villain to the MCU now is ALL OF THEM and not just a specific one.
