Hey everyone, I finally got a What we eat in a week done for this month! I haven't managed a second one for this shopping period!
This is about 9 days, although I realised when I was editing that I somehow forgot to voiceover day 3, so I clipped it out, it was the red rice and beans I mentioned on the bean video!

I so admire you. You are a work horse, as was I. You’ve got kids and property to manage. I worked in mental health for 25 years and managed patients, therapists and psychiatrists. I worked 50 hours a week for most years and the last year, 2018, I worked 70-80 hours which enabled me to become debt and mortgage free when I retired. I’m guessing you work more than 80 hours. Keep the what we eat in a week videos coming. I really enjoy those. Debi in Vicksburg, MS, USA. 🥰🥰

Fantastic food. ❤ I'm always inspired by what you're doing, every single month. I'm not struggling with the pantry challenge despite having a few spanners thrown at us at the moment, but we're definitely eating less exciting meals this week. Plenty of good, real ingredients but so little time to make from scratch. Nevertheless my family is all fed and happy. That chicken over potatoes looks delicious, I admit that before I serve anyone, I put some of each meal in the fridge. @OurSmallFootprint that stinks. We have Sam's club and another warehouse store called BJs here not sure if you can find them there. I'm trying to think of people on KZbin who use masa a lot with good recipes to share with you.

I really hate the current setup of my 'pantry' lol, until I get the new part built, it is spread out over part of the top of the house, shelves down in the kitchen area and tubs and barrels stacked out of the way all over. I was so hoping to have it built before now, and then I could stack everything centrally and it would be so much nicer (and easier) to share! but it just hasn't happened. I will try and do it for next month though, I do sometimes share photos of the shelves to try and explain in my 'planning' videos, but sometimes I just don't get to it :D
