Hey hey y'all! Today is my first hive inspection. I was able to spot the queen bee. Some things are looking great and some not so much. Overall, I'm happy. We are also talking about storm damage in the garden.

Tomato plants are very resilient. I bet your garden veggies will be alright. If your sunflowers are the tall kinds they might need stakes.

I absolutely love that you are taking us along on the journey of learning about and taking care of the bees. I'm a little scared of them but I think it's because I used to get them confused with yellow jackets. Once I learned that they were different I was able to realize that actual bees are not aggressive if you leave them alone and are actually really interesting.
