Thank goodness Ebs has some DIY in her bones. I can barely remember our first bed other than it was a full also. When we needed a bed for the a spare bedroom we upgraded ours to a queen. We should have started with a queen. Then we moved and needed a bed for the mother-in-law suite so we got us a king for the master. What a dream to sleep on a king. As 1/3 of your life is spent in bed sleeping go ahead and upgrade. It's not that much when you average it out over 7 years.
