Seeing our ancient fathers as the heads of the family we are directly a part of through the covenant God made with his children (Israel) gives me a different perspective on the church today and the role our leaders have in guiding Christ's church. I just love President Nelson and his inspired counsel and message which repeatedly proves prophetic as it is fulfilled before our eyes. Pondering the role I have in the eternal family makes me feel closer to the perfection God has promised through faith, repentance and enduring to the end.

Great podcast. I appreciate John’s thought about not just looking to the past during the sacrament, but also looking forward to the time Christ will have the sacrament with his faithful disciples. Verse 3 of the sacrament hymn “In Remembrance of Thy Suffering” (#183) also reminds me of this opportunity.

I feel like I just went to a religion 300 class. Excellent information. I love the deeper dives. I feel like my mind is “opened” to further enlightenment. John-the first time I met you was shortly after Columbine and you spoke to us at booksellers in SLC. I was a new independent bookseller with teens at the time and you took a moment with me and shared my concern for them. For the next 5 years my kids loved finding you at booksellers and visiting with you. I appreciate the time you spent with them. Thank you-

I LOVE both of you John and Hank!! We raised our kids listening to you both. In road trips they were not allowed to listen to their own music till we listen to one of your talks. 😆 They all went on mission and all mention that your teaching examples really help them. 👍🏻 Thank you for all you do! This mama is very thankful 🙏🏼❤️

I have always loved John Bytheway. I’m so glad these guys started doing this. I really have struggled with keeping up with the D&C this year. I just loved the Book of Mormon so much last year, it was a difficult adjustment. My stubbornness has shown me clearly where I have gaps in my testimony. We are so blessed to have members of the church that help us come closer to each other in such odd times. Thank you to these brothers. This podcast creates an easy way to learn more about the restoration, and keep the spirit in my home. I love to feel ahead of the ball when teaching lessons on Sunday, or in Sunday school.

These things came fast because the Lord knew how little time Joseph had to be with us. I am so grateful for his dedication and work that was his whole life from when he was called.

I am riveted. I appreciate the doctrine and simple truths taught. In this episode, when Brother Bytheway read the title page of the Book of Mormon, the Spirit became powerful. Thank you, thank you

This is so helpful in understanding the promises made to covenant Israel! It’s so neat to think of the same saving covenants being binding with, “the Fathers” long before Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Also, I appreciated you including women by mentioning mothers as well. Thank you!

John, I met you once when you came to speak in England at Sheffield stake, when I was a recent convert. We were both very much younger then. I have moved to Canada since but my testimony is just as bright that the gospel is true.

It points to the great meeting at Adam-ondi-Ahman and the great banquet of the marriage of the Lamb, described in the Revelation of John. All part of the fulfillment of the Abrahamic Covenant, with the second coming of Jesus and ultimately after the Millennium, at the Final Judgement, in the agreeable Bar of the Great Jehovah, a day described by Elder Uchtdorf as a day of healing. Isn’t the Gospel a marvel and a wonder? Thank you so much for these podcasts. You are always blowing my mind.

Kerry as a young Mom i worked part time at Deseret Book at the old Cottonwood Mall. I had a Mom with kids come in and was looking for a book for a young son to learn Hebrew, his primary passion at all of 8 years old. I can't help but wonder if you were that child! Amazing things you are doing and I'm grateful!

I wonder if this revelation did come in answer to Joseph's question... just not knelt down to ask like stronge of the others. He was going to get wine from his enemies so I'm sure he was questioning if there wasn't a better way to take the sacrament given his circumstances.
