The mortal kombat that's out now is the 9th one released for all systems.. and you have to have a ps3 online account in order to download Freddy Kruger same with kratos from God of war..

Mortal Combat 9 is on xbox360 and you have to buy the downloadable content from xbox, you dont get it with the base game. :)

The MK ur lookin for is Mortal Kombat, it has no number, has a pic of scorpion and sub-zero on the front. It is the 9th Mortal Kombat game but it is just called Mortal Kombat...and I highly recomend it, its badass! It's on PS3 and Xbox 360, You have to download Freddy Krueger off the internet tho. He's the only one of the d/l characters that I downloaded, and he's freakin awesome lol.
