Out for a drive in my 1988 BMW E30 M3

This car is an ongoing restoration project. Formerly it was used as a race car for a number of years. I've been turning it back in to a street car. In this video I had just finished some work on the car and after having it off the road for about a month I was itching to go for a blast through the mountains. This is a small portion of the drive and overall it went well, except for some Sunday traffic.

Awesome video man! Once I'm done with university I plan on fixing up an old E30 M3 and take it out for fun drives like this. Also I love the oil sensor mod, gotta be something I do!

They're awesome thank you! I did hack it a bit to read engine temp from the oil temp sensor rather than the water temp sensor. It works great!
