FFA Alumni here. Voc. Ag. Was a huge part of my youth. Probably the best thing that I was involved in in my young life. Beef Production, farm mechanics projects, and award winner. Still have a box full of ribbons. Love the fish pond, that is really something, have you ever thought about heating the pond? Thanks for Sharing. 🇺🇸

I attended the National FFA Convention in 1979 in Kansas City, as a chapter president from Southern Wisconsin. I spent 4 years in FFA while in high school and had a fantastic time. I was a city kid which was about 95% of our chapter in those days. We had a greenhouse and ran a 400-tree apple orchard which was basically given to us by a local farmer so we could take care of it. Such great memories and met so many fantastic people. So great to see FFA still going strong.

A retired friend of mine rented a mini back hoe & soon realized he could'nt operate it.. After buying a new home in an up scale neighborhood (he's a retired M.D.) he wanted a Koi pond.. It turned out to be much larger than his wife approved of.. But I dug this pond to his specs that included multiple sections & a filter system .. That was 10 yrs ago in Hou. Tx . He now sells Koi minnows up to large adults .. He has become popular among asians who enjoy Koi ponds .. My wife being asian , I decided to make a small pond much like yours for her , then went to purchase a few Koi... Wow...he gets insane money for his fish because of the rarity of breed & color. Even at the "friends rate" , I declined and bought from our local aquarium at about 5% of his prices ...

It is too bad these videos come out so late. My younger brother was there with his youngest daughter. He is part owner in our local CaseIH dealer. The same dealership that my grandfather and father have worked at all their lives. My older brother even worked there for a while. I would have had them seek you out. I however am the blacksheep of the family. Instead of working for the dealership I am a disabled former pastor.

Hello Bob, Nick & Scott & Welker Family, to my knowledge we don't have any thing like your FFA for Students, so I found this very interesting, the FFA is albout teaching young students ,about Farming Techniques, different fields associated with Farming,so its a all round Agricultural learning School, Bravo great video, Bob I liked your Gold Fish, they take a lot of caring for I was thinking that Tank in the Shed is it big enough for so Many Gold Fish? feeding and keeping the Gold fish warm through Winter in a small tank is it Hard Task keeping them alive?I saw last year you had some problems in particular one Gold Fish had some sort of infection, I hope all keeps well for 2023, Gold fish are very soothing to the Eye in Japan they breed rather larger size, and cost a huge amount of money, Bob it may pay to get another Water Tank for the Gold Fish ,?just a thought , it sure gets cold in your Area of Montana, well on that note Cheers Bob & Nick & Scott, , Regards to all God Bless, Trevor.W.Bacelli, Biloela Qld Australia.🐭🐨🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🏵🌺🌻🌼🌴

Actually your tire is now out of balance by the weight of that humongous patch.
@cottonj9

That “humongous” tire patch weighs about one gram. If you had ever really used one, you would know that. Most of the best dynamic tire balancers have an error factor of plus or minutes 5 grams. There are 28 grams in an ounce. The smallest commercial tie weight is 1/4 ounce. Do the math…if you can. Please consider thinking through your comments BEFORE you post them, boy.

Seeing all those FFA jackets, sure brings back memories. I still have my original FFA jacket that Dad and Mom bought me at the beginning of my Freshman year (1971-1972) in High School. If my Math is correct, my FFA jacket is around 51+ years old. Doesn't look like the jackets have changed much over the years. Mine has ummmmm,.....shrunk a little bit since then. I was Vice-President of my local chapter during my Junior and Senior years of High School. Also received an FFA Chapter Scholarship pin/award and a Dekalb Ag Accomplishment Award (an award from the Dekalb Seed Company, that is awarded to one FFA student per chapter during my Senior year in High School. I was the first person in my Local Chapter to win the Dekalb Ag Award). I went to my State FFA conventions during my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years in High School. Our daughter was in FFA during high school. We loved all the activities and events! Add four years of college in PA at DelVal, a few more years at Ross University on St Kitts in the Caribbean , and polish it off with a year of clinical studies at LSU, and you can become a Veterinarian like she is. Or any of the thousands of related Ag careers. The Welker boys may have been born into the farming life, but they still pay thier dues every day working for it. So don’t let anyone or anything keep you from your dreams. The point is… this is how big dreams become your future reality! If you want it enough to do the work, your dreams can come true!❤❤❤
