Absolutely fell in love with Honey Salted Caramel Almond since the first time i tried it. I used to keep it simple with vanilla, cookies&cream and cookie dough but the day i grabbed this flavor it instantly became my favorite. You feel intimidated at first cuz it sounds like a lot of different flavors but they all just work together perfectly. Highly recommend trying this flavor.

Häagen-Dazs does not taste the same anymore at all but I still love it. Also don't know if anyone notice but I know Häagen-Dazs so well I believe they did something with the ingredients or formula and made it cheaper. I'm sad and hurt to say it's not as rich and premium as before. I thought something was wrong with the batch I bought last month but come to find out, I truly think HD is using cheaper ingredients and I don't appreciate it at all, no way I keep getting batches after with ice crystals formed in my ice cream. Yuck!. Now it's almost Gelato like in certian points. What's going on? Not sure if it's my local super market but it's been bad lately..

It should be mentioned that Haagen-Dazs is divided in two parent companies. One that handles U.S./Canada market and one that handles the rest of the world's markets. There is a significant difference in quality and taste between the both companies of their HD products. The global HD ice cream are much better than the U.S./Canada ones. They are made in different factories. Also when you buy HD in a shop from a tub, it has more ingredients pieces (nuts/cookies/swirls etc) than you get in a pint of the same flavor.

Just had the coffee flavored ice cream and it legit tasted just like the tiramisu's you order at restaurants. If you haven't had a tiramisu (coffee cake) before then the closest resemblance would be the iced coffees from Starbucks you can get at the store but its not 100% exactly like that.

I have tried this flavor yet, the cone. I’ll try it next. My go to is vanilla bean and my absolute favorite if I want an actual flavor is rum raisin. Recently someone recommended coconut pineapple.. this is a favorite not a lot of people have tried.. it will blow your mind. It’s coconut rum flavored ice cream with pineapple tidbits/mashed up pieces. The flavor profile is insane

Häagen-Dazs used to make a "Burnt Sugar" flavor that I absolutely loved and was addicted to. I think it was 2007 or 2008? Maybe a little bit later than that. That being said, I can not for the life of me find it again or anything relatively close to it since. Can't even find any history of the flavor online either, which is sad. It's almost like it never existed and I am the sole soul to ever know pure bliss and dessert of the Gods in icecream form...

I don't agree with your assessment of Haagen Dazs Mint Chip. Other than the fact that it's white instead of green - which is more of a psychological thing - HD Mint Chip is one of the best on the market. The flavor is plenty minty and the chocolate pieces are of higher quality than most.

I remember when I was on a road trip with my mom on the coast of Oregon and Haagen-Dazs had just introduced four new flavors that were cheap for them to make: Vanilla with Raspberry Sorbet Swirl, Vanilla with Lime Sorbet Swirl, Vanilla with Orange Sorbet Swirl, Vanilla with Strawberry Sorbet Swirl. That was the only time my mom ever said, "Hey, don't eat all of it!" I was Bogarting the container. Usually if I asked my mom if she wanted some ice cream while we were watching TV, she would say, "Oh, the rest of you enjoy it so much; none for me." However, they discontinued those flavors. Even though they always introduce flavors cheap to make, like Cookies 'n' Cream or Salted Caramel. In the olden days they had flavors like Black Walnut. They used to make Rocky Road with walnuts, not almonds. If you buy ice cream from the store, you're buying air. If you watch America's Test Kitchen on KZbin, they show you how to make your own ice cream with a blender. You have to buy heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. I haven't tried it yet. I don't expect people to do this. It's okay to treat yourself occasionally. Like when we were on a road trip in Colorado and my friends and I drove out of our way to go to a Haagen-Dazs dipping store in Aspen because we didn't know there was such a thing, and we had Chocolate Chocolate Chip and the next day Vanilla Chocolate Chip and thought those were the best flavors ever. It's okay if you take a photo of the flavors at the store and it inspires you to make your own Irish cream liqueur -- just buy whiskey, cream, sugar -- and then homemade ice cream. Baileys is so delicious, it's hard to believe it doesn't have anything exotic in it! Okay, I just looked up the copycat recipe and it says sweetened condensed milk, instant coffee granules, vanilla extract.... Another time I was on a road trip near Yosemite and I said, "I would like a large Boysenberry Milkshake, please," and she made eight large boysenberry milkshakes, because she thought I said, "Eight." That was so funny. I bought one, my sister bought two and the manager kindly told the girl to put them in the freezer and they wouldn't be wasted. The girl probably was flustered because nobody ever ordered boysenberry flavor. I don't think Foster Freeze makes them any more. I don't think if you go to Knott's Berry Farm they sell boysenberry jam and syrup any more. Have to make homemade!

Irish Cream Brownie is my favorite. Apparently it is difficult to find but fortunately in my city it is easy to find at the grocery. I never see it included on any list like this. But it is the perfect blend and flavor of Irish cream liquor, coffee, and fudge brownies. And it is enormously addictive.

I’m 62. Lived on this ice cream since I walked into the first Hagen daz in my area when I was 18. I love vanilla chip and coffee. It’s the only ice cream I eat. However just for the hell of it six months ago I decided to try Wegmans premium ice cream because I was pissed off every since Hagen Daz cut their ice cream down from a pint without telling anyone. Felt ripped off. OMG. The best. One flavor better than the other. Now I only eat Wegmans. Their mint chip and vanilla chocolate swirl r amazing. Aldo their pistachio and butter pecan r unreal. I’ll still eat vanilla chip from HD but only because Wegmans doesn’t make that flavor.

Yes! I had a craving for HD rum raisin and it wasn’t available at the store I was in so I ended up going to Wegmans and got theirs then went and picked up the HD rum raisin at another store. I tried them both when I got home. The Wegmans brand was soooo much better! I was shocked..

Not a coffee guy, so gotta disagree with the top pick😊 Caramel Cone was until about a week ago my fave...then i discovered their PISTACHIO! OMG! Most "pistachio" ice cream is actually almond flavored with a few pistachios thrown in. But Häagen-Dazs has somehow made their pistachio ice cream taste like pistachios, and it's not a light flavor, either. The pistachio is literally in your face, complete with a salty undertone. There's also lots of pistachios in the mix, too. Def my new favorite!😊

Let me tell you guys one that you probably haven't had from Haagen-Dazs I don't know why did discontinued it it's still in the Haagen-Dazs ice cream store and that is the banana split the banana split Haagen-Dazs will knock your socks off it is so good oh my God and I think they really knew that they can make more money off of that one by it being in their ice cream store that they have inside of the promenade Mall 3rd and La Brea so I called the store and they said that they put it back in the Haagen-Dazs ice cream store and I'm like why get ice cream was the bomb so I switched to eating the coffee Haagen-Dazs and the vanilla honey honey vanilla is good also but that banana split man LOL 😂😂
