Everyone always talking shit about season 2 lmao. I admit it’s not as strong as the rest of the seasons, but I liked the change and how it tried to go deeper in the life of side characters. And the openings were really awesome (though they always are)

@@doctoc1334 Preach, S2 had some problems with filler (more focus on side characters than necessary, some gags were obviously stretched out) and overdone toilet humor during the first half but it was beautiful overall. So much great content, both funny and analysis-worthy, and the characters felt more alive than ever. S3 is similar but fixed S2's problems.

I appreciate the attempt to understand the side characters better, even though it was less well executed than the other seasons, it was still really amazing! I also believe the staff was so excited about the anime being renewed that they tried new things and adapted to the response. Season 3 is overall my favorite season because I can see the staff that writes the show handles their characters better than ever before, without losing the goofy, Filthy Frank vibe that it originally had in Season 1.
