I remember watching this documentary back in the 90's I remember Victory Outreach I also remember when Mission was a straight up Barrio even in the 90's it was still like that It's changed a lot now. It doesn't surprise me That Carlos was Nicaraguan I'm Half Salvadoran and Mexican and most people in The Mission district where Central American South American or Mexican it was a unique mix in San Francisco back in the days.

I remember Pastor Carlos, Pops and Napoleon from way back in 1996 when VO was located on South Van Ness. They helped change a lot of lives. Pretty cool to see this video that was made back then!

i was with VO in Riverside California for a year then Pastor Dell Castor flew me out to Hawaii to help the VO over there. one thing i got to say is VO has helped me out and they preach only the Word of God. yes there program is hard core and secludes you from the outside world, no tv,newspapers,worldly books,or profanity,no cell phones, for a whole year or more just conventions car washes work and outreaches in the inner cities and plenty of food and barbecues lol all in all in today’s world VO is a modern Christian monastery to separate yourself (literally) from the outside world. and just focus on building yourself up in the Lord and learning to reach out to those that need Jesus. it was a tuff program and i did complain while i was in there (alot) but i knew it is what it is for those that need a hard core program that does work if you remain humble....just remember what Jesus said "I have sheep that are not of this fold" and thoes that are not against us are for us.

I was wondering what happened to Carlos. Brother was classy. He would show up to Mighty men of valor at the mother church back im the 90's and would be wearing a Leather top hat with a peacock feather and some custom Stacey Adams. Super Charismatic guy. I miss V.O. my life was changed forver because of that ministry. I would be dead, in prison, lost or confused out in those streets without them helping break free from the gangs. All love to my V.O. family everywhere!
