Flew time sensitive bank/military documents in 35s in the late80s/early 90s. I can remember saying "Looking for higher" a lot and coming from MU-2s/ Turbo Commander 690s the "Fear Jet" was easy to get behind on.

I bought it yesterday. Im a tiny little pencil flying around T7s on vatsim. But im way faster. I've done 4 flights in 12hrs. I cannot stop flying this thing. You can go anywhere with speed. I really enjoy the quirky nature. But once you get a grip of it it's amazing. Using the default GTN with Navigraph Money well spent. P.S. Tomorrow I'll be a tiny dot among MD11s.

I watched all your Learjet videos multiple times and purchased the bird. it's a great plane and it feels like you are sitting in a rocket, unbelievable how fast you reach 45000 feet. My last plane i flew intensively was the A2A Comanche but I wanted something faster with a higher range but also a little bit oldschool, perfect plane. You can find a pilot's manual on the internet from Gates and in combination with your videos it's possible to fly my first business trips. I play on Xbox Series X ... hope you do a few more videos I always find something i can use in my flight routine

I purchased the LEARJET 35A and TDS GTN750 yesterday and have been flying them diligently. Personally, I bought it because I like the analog cockpit, and I think it's a really cool airplane. Actually, I decided to buy it after watching your old video. At that time, money was taken from my wallet. (Just kidding. I am pretty sure the lagspikes on short final are because of payware/custom airport design (when those items loading in and you get these sort of looking spikes, maybe you can investigate/make a video of it? to hopefully raise awareness with maybe airport designers or something Asobo can do? P.S. I am not one who found that out just relaying the info. Love the learjet though!

Downloaded the latest version of this aircraft and flew it today, I do like the aircraft but I’m disappointed that some things are still not implemented, like the test sounds, the Mach hold, you cannot adjust the cabin rate of climb and now with this latest update it seems that the nose steering is on by default and you cannot toggle it

@@jep1103 you have to go into the controls options and bind it. I have it bound to a button on my alpha yoke, the name of the input is toggle tail hook handle. That’ll switch nose wheel steering on/off.

So how many ILS approaches did you do before you found one that worked ? About 1 in 10 work for me. Arming GS stops the Localiser tracking quite often.

Exactly one. I didn't have to do any re-recording, it worked out of the box.

TDS released the GTNXi Pro which includes full navigraph support - for database update and current charts - a couple months ago. You can get it for a small upgrade price: tdssim.com/tdsgtnxi

@@A330Driver OMFG! If I hadn't watched your video I would never had known. EDIT: You did say a small upgrade cost lol. They want £30 😯😯 So I just worked it out. On the website its £50. I paid £40 for the standard edition. They want £30 for the upgrade. That is £70. £20 more than buying a new licence. That is outrageous.

Umm seems they didn't fix the pitch trim set to max nose down (to neutral) for final version or the nose wheel on/off button/light being troublesome? Nor the engine cync working yet? - Seems little to nothing changed for the release version? Is there a MSFS bug with the GPS screen brightness as noted mine are set so dim like yours in this video maybe an update bug? It a shame they don't have an interactive checklist on tablet & Simbrief but it lack behind the polish of say the FSR500 and they doing a Venom 300 which I'm highly looking forward too, Othwerwise looks a nice busubess jet with some old school features due to the age/model for in sim fun. 👍 Shame about msfs lag even though you are using a rtx 4090 and I914900K - lol

I've bought it but looking through the manual I'm a little disappointed with the number of "not simulated" switches that are just textures. This is more expensive than the stunning BKSQ Turbine Duke and that aircraft has everything possible simulated. Addons like the ATR72 you can totally accept being simulated to a limited extent because it costs like £13. This is £40. The BKSQ Turbine is £34 and is a huge amount of fun. I mean the best simulated aircraft in the MSFS sim, the Fenix A320 is £50. I'm not saying I feel robbed or anything but I feel they are definitely on the expensive side with the Learjet 35a. Get the feeling they are cashing in on the first well simulated BizJet for MSFS.

nosewheel is locked you can unlock it near the nav radio, its a small knob left of it

It's not auto throttle or auto land plane as too old for those and not designed to. It has auto pilot and ILS so as long as you manage speed it take you to the runway etc.

I love this bird but it is a FPS killer and I also experience stutters most of the time when I fly it so I prefer the Cessna Citation which is very good !

Almost all (if not all) the features of the GTN 750 are available in the TDS vs the PMS.

FSW is making really good aircraft, also this one wich I have in my hanger for a while now. You fly quite some different aircraft in the simulator. I fly about 15 types on regular basis…now I do not use checklists but I am amazed about the way you fly them accurately and are able to keep up telling what you do. Although I am a former (private) Pilot with quite some (IR) experience, My flow in all those different types is not that fluid. It is always a pleasure see you doing that, thanks !😊

A beautifully managed approach, you only needed to add power momentarily, not perfect but dang close. At my previous airline they used to demonstrate that in the sim……who knows, one might find themselves in that position either by circumstances not of our choosing or by choice just for fun. Anyway, it certainly got my heart rate up in a good way. Nice work, great video and I can’t wait to pick up the Lear.
