This is my favorite group of all time! And being a resident in Boston brings it fully home! Because this couple met at Berkeley college and started their career as Out of the Grey! Right here in Boston long before I got here! I just want to give a shout out to them and let them know that they are my all-time favorite group of all, and they're See inside album is my all-time favorite! 2nd chapter of Acts is my second favorite all-time group!🙏😁

Out of the Grey / Christine & Scott are the sleeper artists of Christian Music. They have this 'quality' of lyrics/music/execution that is very much (to me) like a Pink Floyd. The width, depth & breadth of their music is simply best described as Art, Set to Music just as I would describe Pink Floyd. I saw OOtG during the KKD 220 Tour with Phil Keaggy, Wes King and Scott. Christine's vocals and Scott's guitar work are simply exquisite. I too miss them.

I remember speaking with Christine before their concert in Montreat NC in the late 90's while supporting the release of Invention with Phil Keaggy and Wes King. She didn't seem to have any pre-game jitters, just thinking about her kids. "It just takes so much time to write the songs, to produce the songs, to perform the songs..." Much more than her art, I appreciate Christine's love of her family, and her God.

They officially ended the band in 2019. They closed their website, sold all their merch, and moved on. They may still do solo projects and contribute to others' stuff. But OOTG is now retired.

It’s kinda sad that if they were secular, Christine would be noted among the best female vocalists ever and Scott would be up there with the best guitarists. But a relatively few of us have ever been blessed to know of them. These 2 are amazing musicians!!

You can see his ring tan line, but also its a guitar playing deal. He probably took it off to help facilitate easier playing or even being able to bend that ring finger at all with a ring. Also to not have it get hung up or scrape the guitar. Its not anything other than that.

Call me old fashion but i thought when you're married you wear your wedding ring. Maybe that's the secret don't wear the ring and stay together.....wear the ring and divorce. I love out of the grey's music and i'm not judging but call me old school because when i'm married i wear my ring especially in public.
