So while editing this thing, Vegas decided to crash like literally 12 times, so by the time I got this rendered and uploaded, I was dead tired and passed out before writing up this overview comment that I usually do lmao, so here we are: I'm trying something a little different here with video upscaling because the quality was bothering me with my last videos. No matter what bitrate I used, KZbin would compress it down and make it look blocky at 1080p, so we're trying 1440p upscaled for right now. It looks a little better imo, so we might stick with it. The next tracks we're gonna look at are the ones that are featured later on in the video while I was casually talking about stuff. The 2nd half of this video wasn't really meant to be a callout, but more just reasoning for my inactivity. Examples I gave of things I don't have an interest in doing in terms of content were not directed at anyone specifically. If the shoe fits, it fits. Thank you guys so much for your support and positive vibes, as stated in the video, I'm gonna try to work back into a somewhat decent schedule, with some different styled content mixed in. socials as per usual: Patreon: www.patreon.com/iTheDashy Livestream: www.twitch.tv/iTheDashy Updates: twitter.com/iTheDashy Discord: discordapp.com/invite/vCFaGng

Thank you for addressing the difference between uturn and airbrake in a professional manner. Ive also seen other videos out there struggling with OoT and i comment on trying to uturn rather than airbrake. And of course the response is usually i cant do it cus i play with analog and not dpad. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for the effort you put in and explaining why (when you didn't have to). This is YOUR channel, and you're free to do what you want with it. I appreciate your honesty and reasoning behind why you do or avoid certain things. Keep doing what you enjoy!

Absolutely loved the end of this video, and how real you were about what you post and why. Dig the honesty. Also, definitely do Ratchet and Clank :) Love that series.

I really can't say anything else, than how much I agree with you. You shouldn't stress yourself with these track guides too much, because, like you said, not a lot of people enjoy them and support you for it. I personally really like these tracks, I love your commentary, I even learn some very small details about the tracks which make my times a bit faster. Even though my times are faster than yours, I can still take some info from your videos, and utilize it in my own style of playing. It's your channel, you don't have to milk your content like everyone else does, you can upload whatever you can. Smaller audience which supports all of your content is much better than bigger audience which just wants you to upload every day.

Great videos, thanks. I laughed when you said you weren't going to call out any other YT'ers, then said "let's talk about it" which was pretty obvious haha.

Maybe you did talk about it at some point, but I never see people talk about how uphill crests help you turn sharper (though this goes along with I believe NF's even stronger downhill/uphill forces than maybe even the original had, for what, speedghosting?). I actually use the minor hill crests in the kinky curves before the windmill to turn those as sharp as possible. Though admittedly I'm still just 1 sec under the dev time at this moment on that track.

I think that the reason you don't lose fire while U-Turning is because that's how you throw items behind you they probably programmed some forgiveness to it for the sake of item use the result of this is easier U-Turns

Have you actually confirmed its possible to u turn by hypothetically just hitting the bottom right or bottom left corner of the analog stick? im on xbox and using the dpad is uncomfortable for this game but all uturn guides say you need to use the dpad.
@iTheDashy4 жыл бұрын
yes? not to sound weird or whatever, but why not try it and see for yourself if it works before questioning it? Its been known since day 1 that you can u-turn with analog, but a lot of people (myself included) say its "easier" to do with d-pad because you have 100% control over the reverse input, whereas with analog if your angle is more left/right and not enough down it won't work.

iTheDashy i have tried it but its difficult to tell if im just doing bad angles or if it doesnt work at all. Sometimes my “uturns” seem to be a lot more like air brakes. But have you personally uturned using the analog on ds4?
@iTheDashy4 жыл бұрын
yes. I've tried it out personally on DS4, joycons, and switch pro controller. though I haven't tried the XB1 controller, I know there are a few high level players that used to play on xbox that were/are strictly analog players. plus.. it wouldn't really make sense if it worked on every other console but not on xbox. as long as you're within the green area in this pic it works fine: i.imgur.com/h0isdFL.png
