Great stories Dave, I think most of us outdoors people lived the same life😀. Amazing how some of the simplest wildlife encounters sticks in our brain, I remember calling in a bull elk to about 7 yards away in heavy brush and him bulging so loud at me I was scared, thinking he was going to hear my heart bounding before he sees me, Or watching a horn owl in a tree looking for mice for hours, fox pups playing at there den👍. Times are definitely tougher now but we still got the little things the matter.-And thank you for reminding us of that. All the best 😎

Hello Dave hope all is well. Do much trapping this winter ?
@trappingworld64633 жыл бұрын
Not to much. No marten this year. Got some fox, lynx and coyotes but just the one marten. No beaver. The ponds were all frozen before I was planning on setting any traps and then there was not enough snow to get to the back end of the line where I was hoping that the water would be higher.

@@trappingworld6463 right on buddy . I set a few otter sets this winter caught two for tanning . That’s about all the trapping I did this winter . So many otters on the Churchill it’s ridiculous! Poor muskrats are getting hit hard by them .
