You guy's are such a God send! ❤️❤️ I have been out of prison a month ago and that's where I found out about this podcast and helped me stay in connection with God. You are all annoited. So it was like I was being fed. I gave my heart to Jesus six years ago. And got arrogant with my walk with God. But he such a forgiving God, He had to me some things that I learned from. So I am in a faith based transition/recovery program, God has blessed me with a job and phone. He is teaching me to never give up because he is always with me. My name is Joshua Peart, I'm currently 25 years of age i was arrested at the age of 20 in January of 2020, and charged with first degree murder with a firearm and attempted first degree murder with a firearm and subsequently sentenced to two concurrent life-sentences for crimes I did not commit. The sole witness the state of Florida introduced i will not mention his name for I do not wish any harm or harassment bestowed upon him but the only person who had insight into the actual crime and who was with me before,during and after the incident testified to not seeing me with a firearm before,during or after the crime the only evidence produced linked me to the crime scene and not the actual crime PLEASE NOTE: (Mere presence at the scene of a crime in itself is not a crime.) yet I was sentenced to life in prison seemingly because of circumstantial evidence that only provide suspicion, there is absolutely zero evidence linking me to the crime yet I was sentenced to die in prison. The justice system is highly unfair not only to the black and brown community but also to the poor, the public defenders and state appointed attorney's do the bear minimum only to meet a standard that say they tried but who can blame them when the justice department grants hardly enough funds to conduct a proper investigation hire needed experts ect. how can one do a good job without all the necessary tools ? it's the equivalent of going on a road trip with your gas tank only half full, you are bound to be stranded on the side of the road but with your help I'll be able to hire effective counsel to represent me and prove my innocence, your donations will not only help me but will also help to shed light on the injustice of the "Justice system". I've read many stories and seen a few on the news of people being wrongfully convicted and sentenced to life or death then 20-30-40-50 years later was found to be innocent...with your help this will not be my life my story nor my legacy.
