Blondey seems to work so hard and also has talent. I remember back in 2012, I saw him and Casper Brooker skating southbank. Casper was absolutely ripping around, doing things with ease, whilst Blondey was just hanging out, and I looked at Casper and thought "That guys gonna blow up." Casper is amazing, has a great career and I think he's the 2nd best UK skater (Tom Knox being 1st IMO) it's just kinda funny though that Blondey, who i didn't even notice, also became extremely amazing at skateboarding and has this insanely lucrative career over different industries. He also seems very smart! Cool video Thrasher

If your parents are rich, you won’t have to worry about working hard like a poor person would, going to a minimum wage job working 40 or more hours a week being really sore from it and worrying about surviving and supporting yourself, you can just spend all of your time skating instead while your parents pay for your life. If every skater had that opportunity, they would be much better at skating if they had all that time to practice it. Lots of kids didn’t even bother going to high school cause they know they would never have to work or worry about money cause their dad’s a millionaire so they just spend all that time skating instead, I’ve known tons of rich kids who got really good at skating that way. Rich kids just hate acknowledging how privileged they are

Angus Rule That’s how I feel about it, if you’re going to be wealthy well like at least he’s not a bad person or shows it off in a way that’s ridiculous. Skateboarding has always been about no barriers anyways, that’s why you’ll see older skaters treat younger skaters the way they do friends, because they all love doing the same thing.

I think it partially may lie in his stance that money doesnt help talent, which on a philosophical level is a nice thought, but in real life..If you can not only choose but practice your craft and do nothing else but that..Which is what he said...And well that in itself is a privilege you wont know you're living until you work a job you hate, dislike or even kinda love but that takes up your time you'd much rather devote to your craft.
@CSPRfilms4 жыл бұрын
John Breiner Must’ve missed that part, yeah you need money to support things like that. I make music videos, but without the dedication of money I can set aside for cameras and equipment vs stressing about rent, I can see how he comes off ignorant with that.
