​@@rodmcgirthy1253 this is gonna be a bit technical but this upload is not a "provided by youtube" automatic upload of music releases like a lot of others. this video was manually uploaded by the band or their manager/label, which is not tied to the regular music platform release. someone went into a video editing program and added the music and the static picture and exported it as a video file to upload it to youtube, and i think the export is where poor settings where chosen that result in a poor audio quality. youtube definitely supports much higher quality audio than what we can hear here. so no, you didn't misunderstand my tone, but it's more complicated than appears on the surface 😅
