I originally started watching your channel because of your nugget-hunting adventures. Now it's nugget-hunting and new homestead adventures! which ties in nicely with your prospecting. In my humble opinion, it really made your channel so much better!! (Disclaimer, it was great before) I think you now have something most other gold prospecting channels don't have. Next stop, 100.000 subs!!! 🤠

That would have been near the sheds I’d say, this one probably came from the old sheep yards and was only attached with two skinny wires. Horses would have had big timber railings buried deep into the ground.

Great restoration work on the homestead property. It is time to paint all the fences, walls, wiring, poles, buildings, building trim, and water tanks…. maybe with white paint - a good light reflector. another idea is possibly give the homestead an official name so everyone around the community knows the locations with a big sign posted on the water tanks and maybe with painted Australian/German flags. TY

Another great video Krissy. You guys are really getting the place organised. Have you had any snakes come inside the house.? Keep the videos coming. Really appreciate them. Thank you and best wishes to both you and Clint. Cheers. Gary PS Pseudonaja nuchalis, the northern brown snake or gwardar, is a species of very fast, highly venomous elapid snake native to Australia. Its colour and pattern are rather variable, depending largely on its location. Wikipedia.

Hi there! What a wonderfull job you have achieved for one day. Where are you in Our Outback. I follow a LOT of Homesteaders - mainly in USA also country folk in Canada and Portugal. Some I’ve followed for 5 yrs or more. Australian outback is a different ‘kettle_of_fish’. Yes I’m an Aussie. I live in the eastern Brisbane suburb of Sandgate. I’m on the very edge of the Pacific, I’m opposite Morton Island on a good day photos even showMoreton Island. I’ve never really lived in the real outback, but when I had my first baby, we were living over 100 miles south west of Mackay and we were on a lighting plant not solar panels they weren’t as popular then this is nearly 50 years ago, but I do understand at least some of the problems you have. I had a friend who went and ‘managed’ a property ( Windaroo I think was the name). Now that is country ‘Outback’ I used to have - lost on a defunked computer. Gives cleaning house a totally different concept. A pool of any otter is wonderful. When we lived out at Nebo we had an open ‘ground level’ huge tank. Cattle, birds, everything drank from it and yes - with old shirts & shorth - we would cool ourselves in this. Wonderful way to enjoy a Sun Set after a hot day. Catch you later, Ellen from Sandgate, Qld.

You seem to have a few batteries? Why not hook them all up to provide higher power, for example two 12 volt 100ahr batteries can provide either 24 volts at 100Ahr or 12 volts at 200Ahr both producing 2400 watts and use a large inverter eg 4000watt. Be aware that most off grid stuff does not produce as much power as claimed. A 600 watt appliance should use 600 watts per hour so a 1200 power source should supply enough power to operate it for two hours. But you probably know all this. Thanks for the vlog. Some long shiny wildlife is best kept away from the dogs - and yourself. Also native plants of the gastrolobium family in WA contain the poison 1080 and are highly toxic for the dogs.

Great work guys the place is coming along real good and smart idea using the Eco flow for various chores have you only got the one? might be an idea on having a spare even though you guys have the generator at least you don't have to fuel up the Eco Flow with diesel or petrol lol. I like the stone work on the footpath and around the clothes line. How many window panes need replacing you could probably use some clear perspex on them next time you guys venture into a hardware store I don't envisage the postman coming out to the property lol. Stay safe guys and really good seeing you're both well etc.

Hi Rod, we're running at least five different batteries for the house, three of them are solar generators and perfect for devices like starlink and laptop. The Delta 2 is our portable power supply, the other batteries run lights, the fan, fridges and the freezer. Since we only use a small section of the house (the kitchen for doing dishes) and our lives take place outside we're not too worried about the windows yet. We'll have to get onto the roof first and replace rotten timbers so we can screw down the sheets of iron again. There is still a lot to do around here but we're happy and comfortable and are being kept busy.
