I will attest the pure amazingness of the Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 as an incredible speed car. Its brutally fast, maxing out at 250 mph, high average speed, and beautiful handling. For such an inexpensive car, its a dream to have in this game. Because of its performance in this game on both speed and grip (at least for me), it made me a lover of it in real life, so I own one for real. Sure, its not as fast as it is in the game, BUT, I did paint it in a similar design to what i had in the game, although modified a bit so lines didnt get that weird cutoff effect that it does in the game as it goes into different sections of the body. I also gave it a widebody kit, larger rear spoiler, scissor beetlewing doors and a few other body mods. I collect cars and happily modify them, some are featured in this game, but i specialize in common cars from the 60s to 90s. I've also modified my 1985 Dodge Ram Van 21 passenger. The front doors and side "slide door" are gullwing doors. Its lifted with a body kit, spoiler and awesome paintjob with "Skins N Furs Foster Homes" sign on the back and sides. I run a large group home for foster children and rescue animals, so i have a huge, wonderful family.

in 2023 removal of speed limiter is still avail for DL and a quick Copy/Paste to game directory, the RPM script however I cannot find anywhere and most of these lists and setups he provides are based around that sadly. Ive recently revisited the game on PC and even though I chose the EVO X for Grip and copied his settings for it to the 'T', my car handles no where close to what his does in the video. Its an under-steering mess like every other car in the vanilla game. I wonder if he's also using a handling mod etc?

Well, the best way to test which car is the best is to give them all the same parts and the same max revs. Also, to drive them the same way (with no nos) and default settings.

So the thing about the 911 turbo you dont have to reduce the engine to get top speeds i find just tuning the final drive gear eliminates the top speed issue it doesn't effect the acceleration that much like .3 extra milliseconds to 0-100 which is already 4.0 seconds, aero and downforce plays a huge part also the 911 turbo sticks to the ground like glue and rarely ever gets effected by bumps or jumps

@Marcy2200 When you said about the power logic in this game is weird, there are many factors to consider when you make a Speed car, or any car that performs. From tire grip to aerodynamics, power-to-weight ratios, these factors determine how a car can perform on any circumstances. A light car can go fast, even if it's lacking a bit of power, while a heavy car can barely go far if it doesn't have the big horsepower figures. Hope this will clear up your mind about some stuff. I'm still a young man, learning how cars work, but I at least wanted to help.

Reducing means that you install the stage 3 part (or stage 4 if available), then you tune the car and lastly you reduce the part to the stage you want and apply the blueprint

Aero affects downforce and drag, I believe. It's why drag builds usually don't use body kits because it both reduces straight line speed and holds the car too close to the ground (so thy can't wheelie for wheelie builds).

@@Marcy2200 911 Turbo. On Nevada your suspension setup makes it a bit too jumpy on some dangerous moments, especially on a huge pit on 22-23% of track. Although I should mention that it makes handling better in general. My extremely complicated suspension tune consists of all basic settings excluding Ride Height set to -5 (that I originally set for cosmetic purposes) and Steering Response Ratio to your liking (I set it to 10), that way it becomes glued to the track excluding said pit where it makes a small jump that almost never causes you to lose control.
