I began with the Bri'ish and got used to the solid-shot before moving on to some german tanks with APHE. It felt like I had turned on easy mode. I then switched to France for a bit and found out what the top of the difficulty scale looked like with Tier 1.

Is France really worse than Italy? Italy starts with machine guns and gets 1 shot from front or side no matter what pretty much. Literally terrible. My experience was really atypical. I personally started on Germany and barely hit rank III before switching off and getting a few rank II vehicles for America. Then I switched and mained Japan until I had most rank V vehicles. I really enjoy flying air supremacy or cas with japan

i first started with US but i will grind out the big 3 before anything else and i really enjoy the us there is a good 5.7 lineup with Shermans with stab guns and jumbos with armor and in top tier you have the m1a2 for MBT a good troll light tank a good tank destroyer/ light tank and the ADATS really fund so far. for the reader: pls stay healthy

I started with soviets and the only downside is that you have to wait until getting the is2 1944 to have a machine gun on the roof to defend against cas while in tanks

Meanwhile me, who played fuck-all ground, grinded all the way through Sweden tier-4 and also made it past the literal worst tier-1 I've ever seen (France) before going to early Panther/Tiger and T-34s. Absolutely loved the depression in Swedish tanks, I was so used to some spots where I could easily pick, get a kill and get back down the hill (or whatever it was), it was so hard to get used to other nations that aren't as depressed lmao

As a complete noobie these are my favorites in order 1.France 2.Japan 3.Italy 4.Sweden 5.Britan 6.China 7.Soviets 8.Germany 9.Usa I didnt go based on how good they were only how intresting and fun i thought they would be. I would say top tier sweden is definetly A or even S because they have better hulls then the german leos and they have the 120mm light tank with 625mm pen which is a great flanker and the 40mm mini Otomatics with radar and top down missiles. I would say the Strv arebetter than the Leo2A5 and 2PL.

I started with japan. I think it is actually easy because you don't have to aim at all if you use the Ho-Ro and a lot of tanks have HEAT rounds that are really easy to use.

I am not quite sure how Germany is in B tier when it comes to CAS, the tree has one of the best bombers/attackers for tier III-V and after that you have the G/91 as well as the new F4-F with mavericks. I feel like germany deserves to be at a higher tier in that regard as at every BR it has something that works great as a CAS plane, be that via bombs or larger guns such as the 37,50 and 75mm

Must disagree with the CAS. Germany is awesome both with planes that can bring really strong bombs (and with many fighters right after destroying enemies in the ground going for planes) or great AT cannons like the mk.103

I disagree on the CAS ranking for Sweden, despite their low number of CAS planes they get a high speed and welled armed dive bomber which is able to accurately drop bombs on target almost every time and afterwards mop up with 12 HEAT rockets that can destroy almost anything with a direct hit.

I know this was like 2 years ago but what tree would you say is the best for flanking and general high speed ambush playstyles? The Sweden tree seems to lack viable light tanks while the Italy tree takes a while to get to get to the purpose built speedy flankers. France is seeming to be the best option which isn't a very good sign... Cheers if you ever do respond.

Italy would probably be the best choice, it does take a little while to get there like you said but at the early tiers they get stuff like the AB 43, Breda 501 and M18 which are great for the roles you mentioned. France has some good light tanks too but the rest of their tree makes it a lot less enjoyable overall

honestly i'd put China at the bottom because it lacks originality until way later and with the big three, i would recommend the USA first (easiest nation), Germany (also easy and awesome SPAA's) and then the soviets (last because of the -5 depression on all tanks which is a pain for a beginner)

Well the fastest way would be to buy a top tier premium (which I absolutely do not recommend if you're new), or you could research the bare minimum of tanks needed to get to the next tiers and go from there
