Thank you so much!!! I followed to a T also, although, I downloaded a different version (wasn't sure which version yours was). I just looked for similar words to check and put 2 where numbers were. Ha! It worked so I am very happy. I have been trying to clean up a "world map" picture for a while for my granddaughter and this helped us get it right. I went back and saved the picture as a jpg instead of an svg (the svg pic I had wouldn't clean up) first, then went through your steps on that program. Also helped me with a scrabble letter. I just had to not click background and it fixed it. Thanks again!!!!!! :)

Thanks for information I just got the circuit air 2 for Christmas so I am a new beginner and I subscribed to your channel, you were so easy to follow. I had brought my grandson graphic stickers from eBay and now my granddaughters want some so I'm like, I think I can make them ( not as easy as I thought} I been looking for days to find some and did on Pinterest. but they were the Jpg files. @Beth Purvis when you go to save in Inkscape there are 2 svg options. Choose the one that says plain svg. Once you do that can upload to ds and change the size to whatever you want.

Hi! this helped so much! the only problem I have is that I am using a newer version so Inkscape isn't the same once you go to trace. I was able make my image look so much better but when I upload it to design space, it makes the image a bit thicker so smaller pieces kind of merge with others. I haven't been able to find anything on that, as well. I did not imagine this being so complicated haha

Hi Jocelyn! You need to save up to purchase the silhouette software. It is sooooooo much easier. YES, you can use it for your Cricut/Maker.
