EDIT: There is a significantly better version of this mod that completes Patrick's Dream, that was later added as part of the BFBB Beta Mod. I recommend you download that instead, by joining the Heavy Iron Modding server and search through the releases from January 2022. Or you can download the BFBB Beta Mod, as it's also part of that. It doesn't have the Patrick conversation, but it is a more complete experience. What if the BETA Patrick's Dream wasn't replaced, But Patrick's Mind (FINAL Patrick's Dream) was replaced instead? I always imagined that Patrick's Dream was always intended to be a breather before the final boss, or before moving to the next level. A place where you could get a simple spatula and a few shiny objects. Since the footage was recorded, very few changes were made. Such as the portal in the Dream Hub being changed to warp you to this. Once I saw that original concept art, I knew the true skybox for this game was meant to be just this, and I’m so happy someone made exactly what I was envisioning!

That’s really cool how you got it working. If only all of what was cut made it into the final game. What I think they should have done for the remake was to do what they did with the MCC. That way you could switch between the old and new graphics whenever. They really should have done that and worked with modders who’ve been working on the game for a longtime to help with adding what was cut. Is there any news of them porting this game to newer consoles/pc? Or is that just not happening? Also, is there any news of PurpleLamp adding proper mod support, or actually adding the cut content into the game?

Hey, is it ok if I download this and use the skybox for my own reimagining of db_05? The skybox I was trying to use wasn’t working, and I probably won’t release it anywhere anyway, just personal use. Oh and… I also want to maybe fix the straw models as well. I know you saw a guide, or someone told you? As a matter of fact, I don’t really know how much of this is custom functionality, and how much of it is vanilla (no pun intended)

I can unfortunately be no help with the straws, but I can say you can go ahead and use the skybox. I literally just copied it from db01. The texture was made by someone for the community to use.

Patrik was ment to be playable and throw a fruit at beginning .Mrs puff was ment to be in this level but dosent have anything to say.

Puff actually does have dialogue for the level. But it requires some messing around with the talkbox to get it to appear. No audio though. (Which is half the reason I got rid of it) As for why there is no playable Patrick in this mod. The entire mod is basically a massive what-if scenario. "What-if they finished Patrick's Dream, and scrapped Patrick's Mind, instead of it being the other way around." That would also mean that Patrick wouldn't be playable, even if the NPC wasn't there, because no level in BFBB Final let you play as all three characters normally.

From what I understand, the level has all the data for the beta tikis to function, so whenever you add in a Thunder Tiki or Floating Tiki, it will use the beta models instead of the final models. I was going to use the final ones instead, but I thought it would be fitting for Patrick to misrember how one of the tiki's looked like.

if i try to replace the DB files with the mod files, it doesnt work, and i cant delete the bfbb files it wont let me and i have no access to it, maybe you could make a tutorial how to do?

​@@memesstudio5840 1) The rom can be extracted anywhere, but it's recommended extract it where the tutorial says. 2) You didn't even pay attention to my first reply, because that link I sent you in said reply is the tutorial. (I'm assuming you are playing the game through Dolphin. If not, I can find a tutorial for GameCube Rebuilder.)
