Who woulda thought hammer untamed could be a button masher with utility.

since you don't cc or unleash in your rota, the first 2 traits in untamed can be changed to whatever. probably the safest option would be to take the two middle traits, so you get get extra barrier and condi cleanse if necessary

Hitting 26k - 28k dps post SOTO (Secrets of the Obscure) using Relic of the Deadeye, Exploding Spores, & Frost Trap w/ the changes made from the pinned comment. Love the build, I've been looking for an excuse to use a Ranger :)

Glad to help! It stands for "Low Intensity". So any build/rotation you can do without much or any difficulty.

Yoy play with [farsighted] in the Marksmanship tree even tho this is a melee build?

Hum, I dunno if for my next char I go with untamed or deadeyes :3 Untamed seem cool with very good utility to save team, and thief have... DAMAGEEE so, dunno :3 Will take any advise a this point, just looking for something chill and reliable in every end game encounter ! Edit I don't want Engi, already to much in the team, not fun xD

Thief also has insane CC for breakbars with basilisk venom and swapping to offhand pistol :D Like the highest in the game. The only thing is that it may be harder because of needing deadeyes mark always on your target. You also have a chance to miss your backstabs or get taken out of stealth before you can backstab. Yeah tough choice, I think untamed all around would be easier to play everywhere, not to mention it has higher base HP than thief like 3-5k more or something. After thinking about it I could only recommend deadeye over other LI builds if someone just REALLY wants to be a "dagger rogue" and they're in love with the fantasy. The extra DPS it can do from behind isn't worth the headaches it could cause otherwise. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions whenever

@@tigeargw2 Hi, thx for the answer ! I agree, I've made the thief gear it, hit easily 38k+ on golem, but in actual encounter (KC, Sloth, etc..) it's often a true struggle to put respectable dps. I'll try untamed next, seem more reliable. But I'll keep mainly playing my scrappy anyway :3

@@orack6355 Glad to hear it! I don't think so since it recharges frost trap quicker, but sharpened edges may work too. Would need to test it. (Can't for a bit tho away from home)

@@tigeargw2 any feline pet does about the same dps. technically lynx is ever so slightly above tiger in dps, but you might as well take jungle stalker for some extra might on demand or white tiger for aegis on demand
