Good tier list but you're underrating SOR3 Blaze a lot, her dash attack is 100% invincible and that makes her one of the best in the game IMO, it's better than shiva's(and she has access to bonus levels that shiva does not, which helps a lot with S-ranks, since you need tasers to activate them). Axel SOR3 also has way more s on his specials than the others and more hits for better S ranks, and SOR4 axel is better than he gets credit for thanks to cancellable grand upper + one of the best all around defensive specials.

Enix Belmont that’s a really good point. When I made the list. I compared it to SOR 4 blazes dash attack which looks superior to the other blazes dash. It looked and acted way to similar to SOR 2 blazes dash when analyzing it.

I agree with you on SOR4 Axel. I love how you can cancel his Grand Upper right into his Dragon Smash and then into his Star move to add up your combo count, especially on multiple enemies.

Yeah, my female uses SOR3 Blaze and I use SOR3 Axel when we play together and she fucking just RAPES with that flurry attack. Nothing can touch her while she's doing it.

I agree with you on Floyd, SOR1 Adam, Shiva, and the Axels. I do, however, disagree with you on a few characters: 1. SOR1 Blaze, while having a limited moveset and an awkward combo finisher, has great punch range. 2. I would rate SOR2 Blaze higher on the list. While she does have a lower priority dash attack than her SOR3 and SOR4 counterparts, she does two saving graces: 1) her combo finisher/attack button hold move does insane damage (I can one-shot Galsias with her Haymaker); 2) she has better punch reach than SOR3 Blaze. 3. I think Dr. Zan has excellent punch range. With Dr. Zan, I can hit enemies before they can hit me. I have been able to get away with attacking head-on enemies like the Signals, Estel, Dokuja and Max without taking damage. His Energy Ball Throws are very damaging. Don't think of him as a bruiser; think of him as the beat-em-up equivalents of Sagat and Billy Kane. 4. I died a lot with Max. I believe that his slow speed, relative lack of crowd control options (as opposed to Floyd), and the fact that his strongest attacks are interruptible and leave him vulnerable to sucker punches, all make him a lower tier character. One more thing, regarding Skate - there are some other differences: •SOR2 Skate has a stronger neutral grab attack, a stronger offensive offensive special and stronger jump kicks. •SOR3 Skate has a stronger basic and grapple combo, as well as a dash attack that is twice as powerful as SOR2 Skate's.

Very interesting analysis. I can definitely see all the points you have made. I feel as if I did underestimate some of the lower tier characters as many have commented about. I do have one question which is do you think Sor 2 Skate or Sor 3 skate is better? I had major trouble when making it

Don’t you kinda under rate characters that can run like Adam, Cherry, and SOR3 Blaze? Being able to run can make it so you can have out of this world combos consistently throughout the level.

While that true to an extent. The moves of those characters is what brings them down. Sure cherry has excellent movement, but has weak damage and throws. Mainly Skate puts the characters you mention to shame. He can move like them but is faster and does more damage. Movement is only icing on the cake when characters like Floyd don’t need it

Max's headcrush grapple would take out like an entire bar back on SOR2. Here it's more comparable to , possibly any other throw, maybe a little stronger. So disappointed.

Gotta disagree with Zan; his melee is one of the best in the series due to sheer range. You can use his blitz to hit a person after any of his throws or full melee improving his damage output. His defensive special is garbage, I agree there. But, his forward special is pretty good not too bad and can catch multiple approachers with its range and like all the SOR3 characters, is of course near invincible. Also a blitz can be linked after it's use as well. I can beat mania with Zan much easier than I can with SOR3 Axel (his melee range means you always have to be careful about your approaches, especially to Donovans and their superior jab reach, or any boss that feels like zoning you.) His big weaknesses I find are his piddly jump range and attacks, but at least he has a dash and rolls with good speed. Oh yea and how every weapon becomes a single use energy ball, which for some reason stops you from picking up anything else until it's used, which I have to think might be a bug. And he sucks with grenades and similar weapons because of his extra animation of him throwing the item, usually with him tossing it just infront of his own face. Still, I expected him to suck like his SOR3 counterpart, but he became my lowkey fav when I started exploring him. Flawed but fun.

I may have over exaggerated how bad he may be. He definitely isn’t unplayable, but I just think the flaws the character has like the bad throws really hurts him. And while his damage isn’t horrible, it just doesn’t compare to characters like shiva and skate who beat him in almost everything. And while range is nice, it isn’t as vital as damage or speed which he is weaker in compared to other characters.I will also agree that his offensive special was underestimated in this list.

100% agreed, sor1 blaze has a crazy hit box btw. I’ve beaten many characters including sor4 axels, Adams, and even skate’s from both 2 and 3. And these characters have access to specials and star powers. Its all about spacing with sor1 blaze, if you can master that, your good. She may be the most basic of the 4 but even with that she can’t be considered the worst character in the game imo. But I respect NPC’s opinion.

My best run is Shiva 10 min somethin. His speed and his forward dash and recovery is beating the system. Hope I can see SOR4 Max and SOR4 Shiva mod or official update coming.

Terrible gameplay shown. It's no wonder why your list is jacked up. You simply can not play the game well enough. You hype Floyd up but is getting phucked up worst than sor1 axel. Sor4 Adam and Sor4 blaze is two of the best characters in the game. Max is a solid character but he isn't as good as you think. Some picks were spot on though. I'll give you credit for that. You must improve your gameplay skills a lot more to get a better feel of the actual tiers. But I thank you for your effort and video.

This tier list was made a week after the game came out so please take that to consideration. It’s a old and possibly outdated tier list at this point. I’m surprised it actually got this many views. I know a lot of people saying Floyd is not as strong as I mentioned it. But at the time I made this, he seemed very good. My gameplay id say was lazy, it was fairly rushed. As I mentioned too, campaign only, NOT vs mode, which I should have stated more clearly

Maybe I don't know any better about SOR1 Blaze, but in the first game she was the best out of Axel and Adam, she had the speed and grapple skills to out match her male counterparts. Sure she didn't hit as hard, but in the first game, her speed made her deadly. Again I am ONLY comparing her to SOR1 Adam and Axel. The tier in game 1 was Blaze, Adam and than Axel. Been playing the first game like in FOREVER, I cant put her below the other 2.
