Awesome tuorial, learning a lot . I have no experience with GM and GML, just with Unity and C#, yet this is very understandable to jump in bare boned

Hi Sky, I'm following along with the tutorial and it's fantastic! You mention a game you made called Fetch Quest and that it has a stamina system. Do you have a tutorial for that, I would be interested in watching it?

Hi, there! Thank you so much for making this series. It's the only tutorial I've found where the code works with my version of GM (mac). I wonder if you'd be able to help with this. The 5th line of code in the Splash Room creation "room_goto(rLevel1)" keeps coming back as a fatal error saying that a variable is undefined. I'm going to keep looking around, but as I'm new to coding, I haven't been able to resolve this well with trial and error haha. Thanks again for any suggestions! I really appreciate your videos.

This tutorial is a little confusing to me... Why don't you use the events system? Like when the player hits a hazard or enemy can't you just use a collide event? Why is everything in the step event?
