I don't use water shield anymore; I just use Molten Blast, and potions when I need to. I'm always 2nd for overall damage in the Raid :)

Nice run. cheers for the video. What runes are you using for this? Water shield, way of Earth and what else? What's the point of dual wield? better threat on a melee dominated group?

Dual wield is good for caster bosses, as you can't block any of their attacks anyway.

Double rockbiter is great threat and solid damage

Nothing in the raid does damage (which is why I just let warriors etc tank trash) so tank shamans are just going duel wield for big damage and crazy threat. I am pretty sure my 10% hit wasn't working this raid tho...

Sick run! Im looking to try and solo tank this for my guild. Do our healers have to be pretty good to be able to stack the elite and lady seravess together? Or is the damage pretty easy to maintain.

I think you can do it with no issues! Been stacking them since our first raid and I was considerably squishier back then

Nice run! i'll try to DW tank next reset, do you think water shield is necessary or you could go with lava lash? Also, do you regret being a tauren and not an orc because of axe skill? idk if its huge difference but i see every enh shaman with those 2 bis axes on top logs.

As tank you want to use the highest dps weapons available in this phase, which are daggers. Lava lash will not do much dmg with daggers since it is based on wep dmg and daggers are fast with low top end. The bosses are only +2 so I don't regret being tauren, but I will have all shaman races at 25. If you are trying to push pace, water shield is 100% necessary. Even with it, I start almost all bosses at 0 mana
