Such great fun! This is the cinematic experience I want from SC. The night fights at Ghost Hollow are more tense and I love it. I like sneaky sneak play though, sniper and silenced pistol. Kate do you run an Emod stabiliser on your Daemaco? It really helps recoil and shot dispersion, you should try it.

Been playing for about three weeks and the ghost hollow bounty mission was the first mission I ever did and quickly became one I ran a whole lot, just because of how intense it got. Started with me firing from my ship until I got more comfortable attacking the enemies head on.

Nice upload Kate. Haven't got around all the new locations yet. They are in need of a frames improvement but look great. I've found this patch launch to be one of the most stable I've experienced. That's worth remembering (particularly amongst the poor impression that rarest of rare Idris event created lol), SC is getting there.

I had a similar experience recently. Haven't been playing much. Jumped in to do a fast box retrieval mission. It wasn't fast, but I completed it with a lot of severe injuries. Quite the surprise.

Especially those lights with the C54 - they can plink off headshots at about a km if you're not careful. Found THAT out the hard way. It'll be wild when they're able to heal each other. And the most jacked up thing about those village missions is that you can shoot the civies...and the corp pays you for it, even though they're not the bad guys. That's...dark.

Not really on-brand for MT that. HD paying mercs to "liberate" a village is just normal evil megacorp things. Lawful does not mean moral. Definitely not in the cyberpunk dystopia that is Stanton (corpos owning whole planetary systems is peak cyberpunk).

Another excellent video Kate and crew! Yes, the outside AI has improved a lot. I don't believe the Villages are supposed to be hostile unless you kill them. I take out the one bounty at distance with a silenced sniper rifle and 'usually' can walk around without hostility. Ghost Hollow is just nasty.

A couple of STVs would have made getting the boxes and injured party members back to the ship faster. I'll use mine for box missions because the STV is faster than walking in high winds. The rear rack works great and holds two 1/8scu boxes. Don't forget to throw the big tractor gun in the trunk for when it rolls over though.

Thats awesome, i used to tractor beam AI and put them outside when they didnt have nav mesh on planets. Glad to see it improving. Its going to be important for AI to perform outside and use ground vehicles for more fun! Great video!

I saw the outdoor NPC performance increase many times over in Seige of Orison. I got sniped from 200 meters away so many times, I ended up switching one of my weapons to a P6 just to outrange NPCs

It really is beholden to the server fps (tick rate) and ones server meshing is in it could be a whole different game.

I don't know if it is just me but ghost hollow seems a lot quieter lately. I have done bounties, collections and more without too much pvp. Everyone seems to be headed to brios these days.

Yeah the hot spots kinda rotate around. Whatever is the hot new mission or event gets the most attention. If you want to avoid other players you can usually wait a few weeks and the hot spots will be quiet.

I'm very sorry, but you've misunderstood. This is not an improvement to AI. All they've done is made the AI more aim-bot. All they did was give the AI a better % chance to hit at longer range. This is no different from increasing their health pool and turning them into bullet sponges. The AI are not using better pathing, demonstrating any form of individual or group tactics, or doing anything innovative. They're standing in place and hitting you with 80% accuracy on full auto from 100 meters. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot good in the AI that's still buried in the bogged-down server performance that should start coming through as replication and meshing come online. But these recent "improvements" are not that. They're a transition closer towards the aim-bot bullet sponges from The Division. This, along with non-physicalizes salvage, beam-based interaction for everything, and MM dogfighting that's not a positional dominance game, is yet another step in the direction of arcade-like game play. It's yet another step in the wrong direction. Star Citizen should not be simplified. Praising these kinds of changes is going to result in Star Citizen becoming a boring game, not a better game.

Ofcause they are improved, they become steath and invisable. and they can shoot through walls and their bullets can turn 90 degreed, they can see you long before you can see them!
