My two grown daughters and I started a tradition of going to each other’s homes on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving and decorating each other’s tree and helping with other Christmas decor. We have now added in the 4 grandkids to help us as well. Hot cocoa and homemade sweets make it even more festive. 🎄♥️

I always decorate the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving. We make it a family affair, with decorating the Christmas tree and home, making cookies, watching Christmas movies and writing out the Christmas cards. 🎄

I've been using artificial flowers for my Fall and Christmas decorating outside for years now. You don't have to worry about them dieing on you. I'm a little older than you, but far from 80 years old. 😊 The front porch is beautiful!

November 1st, is when I start. I usually get the inside done first. I make my wreaths every year, changing out the decorations every year. You are so lucky you have a porch. I wish we did but I work with what I have and really enjoy decorating.

I’m all done. I started NOVEMBER 13 when our light guy came to put up the Christmas lights. Once he was done I was off and running. It turned out great. Today is Thanksgiving and I’m ready for Christmas with the exception of Christmas cards and a few more gifts. All wrapped up and I’m ready. So happy I started so early. HOLLI🎄🎄🎄

Jessica, the porch looks awesome! I used to decorate the day after Thanksgiving. However , last year I started early November. Did the same thing this year. We do the minimal woodsy cabin look. Have been sticking with that theme just because it goes well with our small home in the woods. Love that vibe and switch items around each year. The window boxes look awesome!! Great idea!! I started decorating last Saturday and just finished today! I did traditional red and green in my living room but more of a cozy, neutral wintery vibe in the rest of the house so I can keep it up til Feb/Mar. Your doormat turned out so cute! And I actually think the faux poinsettias is genius especially since they can be bad for dogs if they ingest too much of it

I love all of the color on your porch, the 2 trees from walmart looks great with the berries. You can add a couple poinsettias to them with lights and they will look exactly like the wreath. Very pretty and cozy for a brisk night . Be safe and God bless 🙏💞
