Hey girl, I've been playing catch up! (read: expect me to spam comments today lmao) Election season is very busy for me but I've freed up more time for Sims lately. As always, your lots are beautiful. You're really inspirational! I'm just straight up taking notes over here. I swear you've doubled my actual CC-creation to-do list since I started watching you (exaggeration, because that list was stupid long already, but still)! 😂 I love how straight-forward your delivery is while making the narration *feel* conversational... a truly undervalued soft-skill! My family plays Sims, but nowhere near as much as me (I'm the fanatic of the group) and I have *one* Simmer friend that's on Sims hiatus... so, thanks for helping fill the void while I'm sooooooo "lonesim" right now. How long did it take you to complete your renovation of Pleasantview?

Honestly, it feels like the renovation of Pleasantview is never-ending! I'm still setting up the vacation subhoods and currently setting up a proper pet store for the hood 👀🐶. For a more straightforward answer, once I decided to go for it, it probably took me about a month to get enough done so I could start playing (including setting up the Sims), and I've just been adding little bits here and there since then. I didn’t even have the prison finished when Gordon got arrested! I’d even argue it’s still not fully done, since I’ve got about 5-6 things left on my "prison to-do list," like making the prison computer and remeshing the control points! It also helped immensely to start with a base renovated neighborhood (modthesims.info/d/640540/), and you’ll definitely hear me say 100 times, “I downloaded this lot and renovated it.” I find renovating so much easier than building from scratch!

I use the Allow Puppy/Kitten/Toddler Riders mod! Just a heads-up: toddlers walk and crawl at a snail's pace, so I typically carry them to the edge of the lot or the driveway before leaving. Otherwise, you might find yourself waiting a whole Sim hour for them to make it from the house! Link to Mod: modthesims.info/d/303968/
