Love the way you joined the mortis and tennon joint together. Hope I said that right!

Looks good. Thanks for sharing it with us. It was also cool to see you using the metal bandsaw clamped. I bought one for myself and also as a gift, based on your review of it.

The clamp I got from Harbor Freight, it does a nice job of holding the band saw in place.

Jeffrey, I'm a tool noob. For reciprocating saws, are there specific blades types I need to get to cut nails as you did when you broke down the pallets?

yes, make sure it is a bi-metal blade, there are wood only blades that have fewer teeth, the blades that cut both wood and nails will have more teeth, packaging will be marked as to what material it can cut, I get mine from Home Depot.

Thank you, Sir, for your quick response!

My favourite part to this project was the metal work and handle - great idea. The most audacious part was clearly the chainsaw mortice - but hey, it's worth a try on rough heavy lumber. And you were working in a T-shirt, outside at some stage. I thought it was really cold your way this time of year - enough to freeze your knackers off (Brit expression)? 😂😂 I suppose part of the video could've been created at a different time of the year. Nice video, thanks, but please include more dog next time. I love dogs 😁 Cheers Ian, Birmingham, England
