This is such a beautiful park! Never expected that to be hidden under all that overgrowth! You did an amazing job, Erik. I hope the residents appreciate what you did. Now the kids and even adults can enjoy a beautiful, safe place, an oasis in the neighborhood. I pray that they would either hire someone to do maintenance, or have a “Park Day” twice a month. If everyone would grab a weed eater, some sandwiches and drinks, show up and clean up. The residents could get to know their neighbors, keep the park safe and clean, and let the kids get to know each other. Oh, by the way, have you been working out? Looking good there. I agree that the benches would look better painted but I bought some paint the other day and about fell out when the gentleman behind the counter gave me the price of 800 dollars. Everything has gone up tremendously price wise since Biden was selected president. It's unreal at the price for everything and anything now days.

Erik I am so jealous of you being able to wear a short sleeve shirt outside without being cold & bundled up & with all of the greenery you have there in Michigan. Right now here in South Dakota, all we have is lots & lots (feet deep) of white landscaping to look at. The last few days, it has melted some, but we still have lots of large mountains of snow laying around. In total we might have melted about a quarter of a inch of snow in the last few days. Erik you did a awesome job cleaning up this park. The city should be maintaining their own properties, NOT private citizens!!!
