The scene between JB and JJ is THE best scene of the whole season. A moment of breathing, like Rudy said I think, in an action packed season where relationship dialogues always seemed forced and rushed... But not this one. This scene felt organic, definitely had a 'season 1' vibe; just real emotions, raw and well played, where you can feel the background stories of the characters, their history together, their proximity and all.. The set up was perfect too, at the Maybank house, a physical way to accentuate the vulnerabily of the characters and their sad situation. I liked it, a lot! Thanks for this gem!

I hated that Sarah cheated on John B. Like they had one fight and the first thing she does is hook up with her ex bf. John B was way too forgiving. I understand that Sarah was vulnerable and she lost so many things and she needed some comfort but she could have just talked with Topper like a friend, she didn't have to make a move on him. Feeling lonely does not justify cheating.

@@tylerjackson1806 I did and Chase explained that really well BUT nothing what he said justifies cheating in my opinion. I get that Sarah has lost so much and she needed some comfort, but did she really have to kiss him? She could have talked with him and just hang out with him, but no she had to make a move on her ex even though SHE IS MARRIED, like everyone forgets John B is not her bf but her husband.

I loved that JJ jumped on Big John's back to greet him! It was cute, funny; I feel like, somehow, he must have been a father figure from him too... But, yeah, the fear to lose what he had with John B the last year and the feeling to be, once more, the one who has nothing left, no parent... I feel like JJ and Sarah should have share more moments this season, it would have been a good time for them to find each other and built a stronger relationship. I would have love her to find JJ when she was looking for a place to stay... They have more in common than a lot of the Pogues in this season.

I love watching Rudy and Chase talking about each other and being so happy to showcase John B. and JJ's friendship. Their scenes together are usually the best and it feels so great knowing that Rudy and Chase have a "very special relationship" outside of the show.

I think the point of them being 17 and also the trauma they’ve been through is so important when thinking about Sarah cheating on John B. Obviously don’t condone cheating but when you think about the genuine trauma these characters have been through, especially Sarah it makes sense. She has a father that tried to kill her, tried to kill her boyfriend AND his father. She has a brother that also tried to kill her and then she has John B who is sort of also pushing her away in the moment but she has zero sense of stability at this point at 17. Topper is that sense of stability even though it was a mistake, as a storyline it makes sense

i loved how they talked about the cheating topic. Yes Sarah did cheat him but like they said she lost so much and it was so sad to watch the scenes where she had nothing left and the fact that the only home she had left him and said some pretty upsetting things. l understood the both sides of the equation like Chase hoped

Love how cleo help pope though some tough thing ,and he was able to receive her advice better because it was coming from a Peer ,and not a adult also what pope lacks in maturity he made up for by being able to give cleo the stability family, and friends. He also gave her safe space to be vulnerable, and let down her guard. It make their connection stronger. I thought they balanced each other out nicely ,and they took their relationships slowly I found it charming.

Sarah kissing Topper is simply her way to try to find comfort and stability again. She has been propeled in the Pogues life, but she was a Kook; never lived that way... She ain't used to being homeless or hungry or things like that. Without John B to support her and guide her, make her believe in the strong girl she is, she is a bit lost and Topper was an easy way out to go back to something familiar. She wouldn't have go to Topper is John B didn't push her away in the first place... But, hey, Wheezie warned us in season 1; she does it to all the guys, she did it yo Denny goddamn it! 😅🤣

View the love triangle situation from the writers perspective and it all becomes clear. Did someone really expect a love triangle on a boats show without the middle person trying out both options? Did we really expect that there won’t be a Sarah-Topper moment considering he was around every time she came back?? It was a culmination done first and all of the explanations came next like “She felt sad”. It was Topper-fans-special.

They should’ve never said hooking up. It’s implied they just kissed when she tells Kiara, but says hook up to John B. Yes a kiss is also a hook up but it typically means sex which there is no implication it happened….

I'm a bit confused about what Sarah and Topper did. Sarah tells Kie that she kissed Topper and that's all we see as an audience. But then she tells John B that she and Topper hooked up. Did they only kiss or did they sleep together? I'm just assuming they only kissed....? Sex was a sore spot in Topper and Sarah's relationship so you'd imagine it'd be a big deal if they actually did do it. It wouldn't be taken lightly. Plus, Kie's reaction felt a little off. I would think that Kie would be pissed that Sarah cheated, in general, and especially if she slept with Topper. Maybe it was just everything going on with Kie and her parents, JJ, and being back from Poguelandia etc., but her lack of reaction felt a bit off for me. She seemed emotionally exhausted at that point. So for now, I'm just assuming they only kissed....? I just personally Never like cheating storylines as it's obviously not right but also hard to explain for character motivation for someone like Sarah and how it impacts John B. However, I appreciate and understand the cast's explanations and how they've interpreted the decision and what it means for the story.

Ok, so now let John B and Sarah be happy in season 4 let them be that couple we want, we want the beach wedding with a dog.. Topper is toxic and a ticking time bomb. You will lose viewer's if you keep separating John B and Sarah. So please let them be together . We want them happy! Rudy .. j.j us such a humble guy I didn't feel the kiss between kie and jj felt real . Also I don't like how people trashed Sarah but kie has kissed allthe guys in the group.. Toppers character must go he the one in the show who acts like he is a stalker he is ad for Sarah so stop hooking them up.. people want john B and Sarah together ❤️

Sarah's character is irrelevant to me now, idc about john b and sarah relationship anymore.. ive no issue with sarah hooking up with topper, i get her point of view but john b getting back with sarah.. that's where ive issue with.. so idc what happens to sarah in obx, id prefer that bornfire night girl who was trying to hookup with john b.. id love her and john b relationship than this sarah and john b.. it's over for me.. Sarah should be with topper, he wasn't the right guy in s1 & s2 but now he's on good term with sarah (he was before he realised that sarah did him dirty by using him)
