Outer Wilds - Any% Suitless Speedrun in

Accidentally reset my splits lmao.
This now 100% suitless run was made possible by the discovery of menu storage wrong warp. This works (somehow) by creating a save at the vessel, then doing some menuing, which warps you to the ending campfire without the suit for some reason. Anyway, enjoy this exceedingly wacky run.

Never knew you could push off of surfaces when in zero grav without a suit. That is genuinely such a cool feature I didn’t expect them to even have.

It's not just when in zero grav. If you are in your ship while it is moving (either your own rockets or a gravitation pull of a planet, etc.) and you are not buckled in to the pilot seat, the force of movement can push you in different directions around ship and you can push off things (even while wearing the suit) in there to get back to the pilot seat or leave the ship.

Thats statue skip. Really precise jump to get that to work. Saves about a second.

Delightfully wacky and great work as always :) I noticed that you didnt full throttle through the entrance to the anglerfish nest like in your any%. Is this because its a risky move and you didnt want to risk progress on a good run or smth?

Yes, it's risky and only saves 3 seconds, which is pretty meaningless in a category as unoptimized as this one.

From how long the vessel section was, I assume it tricks the game into thinking you are still in an oxygen rich environment

As the other commenter pointed out, clipping out of the forge does give you infinite oxygen, which is needed for entering the vessel.

They only react when you boost. He entered and two got alerted but didnt boost any further until he was past the initial two. then you can outpace them.

I didn't delete the save file. I clicked new expedition, and while the confirm box was still up I navigated to switched profile, created a new profile, then selected resume expedition. For some reason this warps you to the end campfire without the suit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@@zajmahal8589 If you mean making the Vessel save while having the suit on, it does work, but it removes the suit when you load the game, so it doesn't actually save time.
