Nice suggestions Gemma. I’ve never been a fan of animal prints, but I think I could actually do the snake print shoes or belt. Thanks for the tip.

I just purchased a dark gray and black snakeskin tee from Chico's - perfect for the winter months and beyond. Love those shoes with the white pants and gray sweater.

I think that brown/black snake print shoes and boots look very classy.

Snakeskin works better than leopard print with my wardrobe and I just recently bought a snakeskin belt, not knowing it's a coming trend! 😊❤

I like snake prints, they’re usually more subtle than leopard, especially those expanded-scale leopard prints that look cheap. I might buy a pair of snake-print, knee-high, leather boots (mid-heel) if I can find a nice, comfy pair. I already got some great sandals and a belt in this pattern when I saw it was coming back last spring. I probably wear more patterns than most women, they’ve been on the outs for a while, but I like having some in my wardrobe. Patterns, whether printed or woven, add a lot of interest to outfits. My favorite way to wear them is in a silk scarf, my fave accessory.

Really enjoying this series & looking ahead to next season's trends. But can't do snake print. For mr it belongs at arm's length in the garden lol

Totally impractical for winter.

I have a some snake print boots but never wear them. I try them on but in the end always opt for a comfier option.

I prefer snake print over leopard print. Leopard could go south really quick.

Does anyone know where to buy a silk snake-print skirt? I really want one, but I can’t wear polyester. Thanks, friends❤

Normally your suggestions correspond with my idea of style - with the exception of animal prints. I don't get the point of human beings disguising as animals: Leo patterns look only good on leopards and snake prints, well, not even on snakes, The same goes for zebras - you don't live in the savannah, where you need the stripes as camouflage. Or why would you like to wear dapples like a cow and so on. Even in small doses those prints always look tacky. Honestly: I never saw an elegant woman dressed as a mammal or reptile. If you want to go back to nature use flora instead of fauna...

Thanks for sharing something you’re not a big fan of. There’s something cheap looking about snake skin, whether it’s leather or pleather, in a pocketbook or shoes. I’m not a fan. They fall under the denim skirt look. Cheap.

Designers are pushing super-high heels again, unfortunately, just to get us to feel out of style and spend more money. I never wore them and never will and I’ve thought the high-heeled pump has looked out of style for decades. I haven’t seen a woman actually wear them here in San Francisco since the 80s, just in IG pics, etc. People only laugh at them here as silly and pretentious, which they are, if course. We would rather be able to walk than have fancy-looking instruments of foot torture just to look “sexy”. I love my comfy, mid (2-inch) block heels for a little bit taller look, but no way am I going to wear stilettos. Sneakers, yes. Vote with your wallets, friends, don’t fall for this stupid, impractical trend. We need more comfort in footwear, not less.
