I am a Northeast/NY brotha, born in 75, came up in the 90's Generation X, and had the privilege of experiencing the rap renaissance where everything coast to coast was banging. This is Westside, California all day long, but when OutKast drop this here boy; NOBODY was seeing them and I mean NOBODY from the Westcoast to the Eastcoast. Andre 3000 and Big Boi put ATL and the Dirty South on their backs and made a statement. I STILL pump this album and its my absolute favorite one from the Magnificent Duo. That Andre 3000, was the mouth piece for the South, especially when he said, "The South has something to say," at the Source Awards. That was a very classic saying back then and we needed that at a time, when we didn't have a voice in the South. Anyway, Dre killed his verse on this song. Big Boy handled his own on this song too. Great song and one of my favorites from Outkast. I was 14, when this song came out. Classic and it never gets old.

I was in the 5th grade when this album came out and I was hooked. Living in Atlanta in Dekalb County, couldn't help but become a fan especially these guys being from our community. They will always be my#1 group of all time.

I'm 41 I was on that video set I was 12-13 it was the weekend of freak-nik I saw puffy, goodie mob, other artists... When I lived in Lakewood I used to always see the dungeon family sitting on the porch before they became famous 👑
