She could have just said, if frank isn't born, I won't be on holiday with him and I wouldn't have gone through the stones, so I might disappear if you kill him, we don't know.

It really bothers me she failed to mention she could disappear as a consequence of killing BJR too early. I mean, why all the trouble and argument when one small phrase would hit home in Jamie's mind and persuade him to wait?

Es ist schon seltsam das die Beiden in nur ganz ganz kleinen Dingen die Zukunft verändern konnten z. B. weil Claire jemanden medizinisch das Leben gerettet hat. Aber was ist z. B.mit Claires Zukunft falls sie in der Vergangenheit sterben würde? Wird sie dann in der Zukunft zu ihrer Geburtszeit wieder geboren? Und wiederholt sich dann alles wieder von vorn?

First, what did he swears in Gaelic ? Outlander should really translate the Gaelic Second, why is she worried that Frank would not exist? I get that at this time Claire did not realize she can't change the future but damnn, you would have never married him if he has no ancestors in the beginning.

She would've never married him, and by that never gone on the second honey moon, which lead to her discovering the stones and meeting Jamie.

They don't translate the Gaelic because Claire doesn't understand it and the series is from her point of view. The showrunners want us to see things from her perspective.

This is an insult to the fans and viewers, Alex, jack Randall's brother impregnated Mary before his death, and had asked his brother jack to marry her to give her and his child security after his death, Claire new all of this and still implied that the death of jack Randall would cause frank not to be born. The writers of this script insult the intelligence of us fans and viewers. It made me angry because she lost her unborn child, over a complete misconception in the script.

Claire didn't have all the information at the time when this scene took place. She was under the belief that Frank's ancestor was the child of Jack and Mary, because the records that Frank found and told her about showed that they were married and Mary had a child, there was no mention of Alex. So it was reasonable for her to believe that Jack was the father. We, the audience, know that the child was Alex's when rewatching it, but Claire did not. She only found out that Alex was the father when she met Mary again during the rebellion. But before that, she was working with the limited knowledge that Frank had given her before she travelled through the stones. While we do later find out that Mary's baby was Alex's, Jack still needed to be alive to marry her to make sure that Frank finds out about him and what goes on in that era, so that Claire can use it when she time travels. Everything needed to happen as it did for it all to be discovered in the future. It is neither bad writing or insulting. You're just using your own meta knowledge, applying it here, and thinking that Claire should have known it when she hadn't been given it yet.
